Windmere and the house are heavenly. The host was so accommodating and the caretaker Rodney was the best!

Great location!

Comfortable home with close proximity to the best fishing flats and close to the biggest sandy beach on the Atlantic side. Well equipped kitchen and spacious living area. We were a group of 6 adults and had a wonderful time here at Sundowner. Hope to come back again.

Magical place

We enjoyed our stay at Sundowner Villa. The house was clean and very well appointed. The host’s description was accurate, we only needed the air conditioning on very calm days. We enjoyed using the kayaks on Savannah Sound. There are several bonefish flats adjacent to the island, and the Bonefishing was good. Local restaurants and a grocery store made our stay very comfortable. We hope the hosts will let us rent their VRBO again. We definitely will return.

Location, Location, Location

The Sundowner on Windermere Island has a perfect location near the beautiful pink sand Windermere Beach on the Atlantic, the calm West Beach on the Sound, and the Club at Windermere Island. Windermere Island is what Harbour Island was 50 years ago, a very private place where you can get away from it all. It was a perfect place for our family of four adults and three children, ages 9 to 14. Everyone enjoyed the pool and playing Pickleball at the Club, as well as kayaking and swimming at West Beach. The snorkeling at the reefs of Windermere Beach was fantastic. The Sundowner owners and caretaker, as well as the staff at the Club, were extremely helpful.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 4 of us had a fantastic week long stay at the Sundowner. The accommodations were spacious, clean, well outfitted, sweet views above the trees ( like being in a tree house! So fun!), near both the Caribbean and the Atlantic, super snorkeling near by, and wonderful support staff. We were met by Mr. Pinder who could not have been more kind. He had the most wonderful smile on his face and he made us feel so welcomed.The house had everything we required from the kitchen to the outdoor toys. I recommend this home to any one going to Eleuthera. Your own private paradise! And still close to amenities like restaurants and the grocery store.We all loved it and am sure you would too!
