very nice rooms if it tad small but for a couple days it was perfect. very strange coming in the first time and there being no signage or anything telling you that check in is on the 7th floor??? they offer free coffee in AM cookies and sparking water all day in the office and have a grand patio also on the 7th floor. We knew about the pricey parking and general lack of parking so took the shuttle from the airport then when ready to drive uo to Charleston we had Enterprise car rental pick us up...worked out well saved 2 days rental and two days parking plus was cheaper tom rent a car downtown than at airport. we also passed on " owners update" in spite of that all the staff was very friendly and more than helpful with directions and advice.
Savannah has so much to see & do. Great food, entertainment. I love the Riverfront. The tour are nice. They great festivals. Shopping. I like walking on the waterfront. The history is so exciting when you are on a tour. Everything you want to see is in walking distance depending where you are staying. Savannah is a place I will always visit when given the opportunity.
Lovely condo, modern with very comfortable beds. Very quiet and excellent location. What more can I say! Extremely friendly staff who knew your name. Loved the town and the dining. City bus was free and easy to use. Can not wait to visit again.
Love our studio homes. It's very clean and looks great. Staff is even better. Most friendly people here that we have encountered at our bluegreen stays. The whole set up here makes it very convenient for us. The valet and parking etc.
We enjoyed staying here so much last year that we decided to stop over two nights en route Orlando to Charleston. The car park valet service is good albeit quite expensive. The rooms are small but well maintained and that's not a problem for us. The downside as usual was the hard sell tactics employed during the "owner update" or "review". We were taken to a noisy room which we told them was not suitable as my partner cannot deal with it. We were then taken to the show unit which we saw last year while the other couples finished their talks. The very pleasant young lady asked questions but took little notice of our answers. This was proved when half an hour later she repeated the questions and was surprised by our answers! She obviously realised we weren't going to buy any more points so got her manager involved. He basically repeated what she had told us and when we reminded them we live in England and cannot just drive here, he shrugged his shoulders and realised he couldn't sell us any more points. Hooray! We then had to walk quite a distance across the main square to be given our "reward". Bluegreen need to accept that not everyone has endless funds. We're retired and live in the UK! I first bought onto this scheme in 2000 so I should know how the system works but I'm always frustrated by the pressurised selling experience.
We have stayed here previously with our friends and have enjoyed both visits. The rooms are wonderful and are very modern and quite spacious. The location is excellent and you are within walking distance of the historic district, the river front and the market. Everything is within walking distance so you can have your car valet parked and don't need it until you are ready to leave.
The studios at Ellis square is very impressive. We had a two bedroom and it was perfect for our needs. A full size kitchen and living room that was beautiful. Location is also perfect, right in the middle of everything and within a block of the river walk.
Terry, Megan, Caitlyn, and Chris were great. No arm twisting (no need to), no high pressure tactics. They have a product and a plan that could sell itself. Two days later met a street advertiser who was just as nice and was helpful about other things we were looking for in Savannah. Great presentation and great representations of their company and themselves. If I were younger I might try to get a job with them and for sure would buy the product.
Have stayed at many Bluegreen properties and love the way they recycle historic buildings to have lodging in the heart of historic areas. There is a rooftop terrace here as well. Bluegreen has nice, up to date rooms and friendly staff.
Stayed here for 2 nights and only slept about 7 hours total. You can hear EVERYTHING from the road and sidewalk just like it's in your room. We were even on the 6th floor. The place is very nice as far as cleanliness and is freshly updated just can't get over the noise. Nice kitchen, nice shower, & nice bedroom. Employees are nice and valet parking is very convenient. Would definitely be a 5 if the walls and windows weren't so "thin". Also kinda weird that check-in desk is on the rooftop but I guess they had more space up there. Also, the elevator is super slow.
