Only problem it rained,LOL. Room was nice, everything was great

Hard bed, extremely congested entry, had to park in the street.

Hotel room is so lacking. Hasn't been redone in years...nice location, nice views but not worth the money!

Rooms are small. Balconies have low height railings and wide apart, kids can easily fall off, so we had to move to a non balcony room. The restaurant has extremely limted options though breakfast is good. The resort fee is supposed to cover paddle boat rental etc. The marins- office closes at 4pm and you have to book in advance to use even their paddle boats or kayaks. Overall this hotel has decent facilities but is overpriced by a factor of 2.

Awesome place took my daughter for her 22nd birthday

Like Hyatt Regencies elsewhere, this tired and fraying hotel needs a makeover to restore it to the high quality of yesteryear. And it needs to build into its rates the $18/day + taxes "resort" fee for what amounts to wifi & water. And we didn't get the king bed with balcony I reserved because, according to Kiley who checked us in (at 7pm) "a big group came in today and took all of those rooms." I didn't know my months-in-advance reservation lost out to first come first served.

Disappointed on having to pay an extra $18.00 for 2 bottles of water and other extras that should come with the price of staying at a Hyatt. The room was very nice and pool was beautiful.

Staff was fabulous,,,! Place was great! Great location!,,enjoyed the incredible pool! And outdoor patio!

This is a great Hotel for family or couples!! Our #1 stay for Sarasota.

Excellent stay.Wish we could have stayed longer and used more of the amenities.Loved the setting with the marina and awesome pool.Would definatly stay here again.

we have stayed during the last 5 years 4th of July weekend. We have also been there for boat racing week. Carmel in the pool bar was the most friendly and helpful bar tender we have ever had at any hotel we have stayed at. She went out of her way to help me and my wife who has a disabilty and is in a wheel chair. Mark and Dwayne the car porters were most helpful and could not do enough for us. It is very hard to find any Hotel that has the great staff and helpful employees that really care about there customers. We have been coming to Florida for the past 20 years and never has such a great time and had such helpful hotel employees let us know where the best resturants and handicap places to go. We will be there again this summer. Thanks for the great time. Looking forward to being there again this year. Mark & Elaine Chicago ill.

Enjoyed the quiet and the staff was very attentive. Restaurant suggestions could have been better. Fitness room was excellent. Drinks were outrageously expensive.

Hotel is very nice but was too expensive during the off season. Should have included breakfast for the price negotiated by travel company.

Very nice hotel stay! Great location, close to Lido Beach! Beautiful pool but loses sun in afternoon! Food at pool and in hotel restaurant was very good! Friendly staff everywhere. Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful vacation at this hotel. The staff was as good as anywhere I have been, including the Ritz Carlton, which is at the other end of the marina. Everyone was so friendly! My only complaint would be too many kids at the pool, but it would be great for families. We are empty nesters. The pool was closed for a day and a half , but the staff vent over backwards to make amends for any inconvenience. I would definitely go back, and I am quite picky!

Thoroughly enjoyed this hotel...great bay view...only thing better would've been ocean front. The decor was so bright, colorful an inviting. Lobbies very open with nice view.

We had a fabulous stay at this property. The staff were outstanding, especially Richard and Nikki at the front desk. The amenities are great, it is central to everything and offers a variety of "free" watersport equipment use, wi-fi, bottled water, local and toll free calls all included in the $15/day "resort fee". Free parking. Bar and restaurant are good but the restaurant can be a bit pricey. There is also a pool bar and snack center plus a spa and an outdoor fire pit that even offers the "fix in's" to make smores!!! All in all a great place to stay. I would caution the june-July season as the rain storms and thunder / lightning are an everyday occurrence for part of the day but when the sun comes out it is soon forgotten in spite of the high humidity.

Stayed weekend 2 nights. Overall it was very nice. But still 3 miles from beach, so I cant see staying there for a week long vacation. Located on Rt 41, so it's probably ideal for people there on business..

My stay at the Hyatt was great! The pool is absolutely to die for! Love the hurricane hut. The hotel amenities were great too! We kayaked and went paddle boarding! Had an awesome time! The view of the bay is amazing! The only thing I didn't like was how small the bathroom was.
