We chose this property for its location near family, but the stay did not meet expectations. There were multiple cleanliness and maintenance issues on arrival and during the stay, including incomplete cleaning and poorly maintained kitchen items. We also had safety concerns after hearing what sounded like gunshots for several hours our first night while traveling with a child and noted limited smoke detector coverage in a duplex. We contacted the host after the first night but did not receive a response until several days later and ultimately worked through Vrbo due to the lack of timely support.

Perfect location!

This is a beautifully updated duplex in a great centralized location and lovely, quiet neighborhood. Easy drive to downtown and all the beaches and attractions. Very clean, AC works great and ceiling fans in bedrooms a plus. The only downside is that there are not easily accessible electrical outlets for today’s multiple devices needs. A charging station would be helpful.

A bright, airy place close to downtown

Great location on a quiet dead-end street with minimal traffic. I grew up in Sarasota and this reminded me of the vintage Quick walk to all the downtown activities of Sarasota. The washer /dryer came in handy, as did the closeness of the fun Tamiami Tap cantina. Overall a great experience— would stay again!

The property was excellent for our vacation plans. Centrally located. Staff was responsive to our requests. We would like to stay here next year, but it’s already booked.

Great quiet getaway

This property is very quiet and peaceful. Because of its location being close to downtown it was a great place to stay in order to get to anywhere in the city. The house was well stocked with supplies and very clean and comfortable! The only issue we had was the cable tv. It would not stay on in the living room, but that was ok because we were out and about most of the time we were there. So if you use the apps be sure to use your own passwords to sign in. We easily travelled to Lido Key, Siesta Key and out to shop at Mall on University. There were lots of debris due to the recent hurricanes, however, the city is doing a great job of getting it moved out. I highly recommend this place and our host, Lisa, was very prompt and accommodating. I hope to return and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great rental, host, and location

The place is in downtown Sarasota, Laurel Park. It is a charming area that is minutes to just about everything. The master bedroom has a huge California king. The host was helpful and responsive. The rental had everything we needed and beach items I didn't even think of. We will certainly come back to stay.

Family Trip

House had a great location. private parking and additional parking on the street. Neighborhood was quiet even on weekdays. Very Nice neighbors and 10 minutes away from the beach. House had a nice patio were you can chill and enjoy Sarasota weather, The communication was great and only had positive things to say about this property.

Charming home in Laurel Park

Clean, cute home in a charming neighborhood. We booked last minute for spring break and had a wonderful stay. My teenagers wanted to be close to friends in Siesta Key and this worked out better than expected. Less than a 15 minute drive and very little traffic. Location was excellent for walking to restaurants, boutiques, and grocery. Only amenity missing was a dishwasher. Highly recommend this stay!

Location excellent, quiet, comfortable

What we valued and got from this listing was nice neighborhood, walking distance to downtown, comfortable beds and quiet. The furnishings were very basic but comfortable. It was a little cottage with front porch and back courtyard. Small kitchen, small bathroom. Three minute walk to a taproom was also great!
