We stay here for three nights. Not only the view is so beautiful but also the service of staffs are very nice and kindly. We want to thank the reception lady's well-thought room arrangement, the housekeeping and cook lady's hard working and the luggage carrier's(Raau?) help and smile. They make this place like paradise. We love it and wish we could never leave... The price is reasonable, the room is clean and the hotel is close to three blue tops and sunset spot...
We travelled all over Europe and have travelled all over the world and this was the worst place we have ever stayed in ever!, dirty rooms, sheets not changed until after four days, broken tv, air con, promised wifi useless, poo smell from drain inside bathroom, broken drain cover dangerous and sharp, bed rock hard with springs poking through, three safes all broken in one room, dusty, fridge noisey and leaking, rubbish dump outside our room just a total disgrace, paid for superior room with seaview ha! check the photo out - the list goes on!! the only good thing about the hotel was the hotel staff Mena Hollmann and the team were very helpful but very embarrassed, the check in staff from Ecorama Agency at Museum Spa and wellness hotel were rude and liars....Dont Stay at this dump!!!! Rated as a three star wouldn't give it one....
Diane, at the front desk Will offer you tours for 100 euros that you can find in Fira for 25 euros!! Wifi only Works at the reception (far away from the rooms but if you ask Diane she Will tell you there is an internet problem in all Oia . ) She is tricky and really not helpful. The sheets of the bed are a disaster and they don'T clean.Beautiful place , worst service .
Pros: - 3 mins walk to the sunset hotspot - clean and lovely unit - private balcony with good view (sea and caldera) - breakfast provided (simple but good) - 5 mins walk to a tasty Greek meal (can't recall the name of the food) Cons - water heater not function well, sometimes too hot sometimes too cold - no kettle or bottled water in the unit so you have to buy mineral water
Awesome View & Location. If you are looking for Caldera view from your room. Cannot be better then this. The Rooms and the Balconies are just best. Rooms are good. Washrooms are not up to the mark, Very small, dark and clumsy. The Room is Cave type and satisfactory. The breakfast is not great but good, Ordinary. A bit crowded. As it doesn't have any breakfast restaurant, 4 or 5 resorts have a shared place for breakfast and check in counter. Airport shuttle is available but prior booking is cheap. If you want to visit to Fira, or any other place you can look for bus, which departs in almost every hour from morning till evening. Bus stop is just 5 minutes walk form the Counter. Oia Sunset point is also just 4-5 minutes walk from the hotel. But I must say its not the best, You will find many more exclusive places to stay near by. but its a value deal with the price. With this price its tough to find any other place with such beautiful view any where else in the world.
We stayed in the standard room and it was outdated. Bathroom was ver small and dark. The only thing great about this place is the view from the balcony. Getting to ur room at night can be a hassle. Breakfast is ok but crowded.
Excellent scenery. Though it's a bit quiet in January, the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. Don't miss the opportunity traveling to Oia. This is definitely a place worth visiting for people who enjoy natural scenic.
My husband and I stayed in the 'Honeymoon Cave Suite with private hot tub with Caldera & Sea View' December 2016. WOW...not exactly what we expected - room was unclean, 'private' hot tub located out the front of the room is not 'private' - not that it mattered anyway as it didn't work. Staff are rude, breakfast (if that's what you call it) was cordial with cereal or bread. WIFI is non existent and there's stray cats and dogs making themselves comfortable on the sun lounges out the front of your room. We booked for 4 nights and left after 2 - don't waste your money staying here.
This was our first visit to Santorini and what an experience it was! The place is just awesome and the views from the room were unbelievable! We were on a long European holiday and had heavy luggage with us, the hotel staff had to carry it on their shoulders to navigate it through the narrow winding stairway paths. But they never once complained although we felt so bad! The villa was awesome, huge and all white!! Although it was very breezy on two days that we were there, the staff kept sweeping and cleaning the floors outside each villa to keep it clean. Housekeeping was impeccable! The hotel lobby was a good 10 mins walk away through the winding stair path. The staff at the reception were extremely friendly and very helpful. You can buy all your water at the supermarket near the bus stop, much cheaper there than on the main oia street. Breakfast was ok, not something you might regret missing if you want to spend time on the patio of your room :-) Overall a great place to stay and would highly recommend someone who is up for the real Oia experience.
My Wife and I traveled mid October. Spent 2 days here. We had a cave room at the bottom of 62 stairs. Incredible view of the Caldera. Sunrise was spectacular from our patio. Room is spacious but the bed was super hard. Not a fan, but we made due. We were treated very well by the owner "Mina". Very sweet and inviting. Breakfast was typical fare, nothing fancy. Couple things to keep in mind is the climb up and down the stairs from the breakfast terrace to the room. For my wife and I no problem but if you have mobility issues this is not the place for you. It's a 5 min or less walk to look out point were the sunset is. This is worth the hype and you must check out when in Oia. Also we did the hiking trail on one of our days from Oia to Thira 10 km. Amazing views of the Caldera the whole way and worth the walk. Bring water and wear a good pair of shoes. Not a flat trail and you will need to be some what fit to complete the whole thing.
