We were a large group and only got bigger as the holiday progressed, due to other family members flying out, we basically took over this hotel for the duration of our stay..:o) The staff here are amazing, they accommodated us all, even our friends who were staying at other hotels, nothing was too much trouble. Martha is a great asset to this hotel, as were the bar staff, who took everything in their stride even when we all wanted serving at once! Big shout out to the evening barman Chris for his amazing cocktails, and advice on local restaurants. The island is beautiful and I would love to go back one day, and would definitely stay at Marillia Village. Thank you guys so much for making our stay special.
We had such a lovely time, staff was great very friendley, near the beach, restaurants, and bars, staff could not do enough for you lovely people, want to come back soon. The pool was good had small pool for children, and snacks at lunch time which was very good.
We stayed here for 4 nights. The staff were incredible! The hotel was perfect! And of course Santorini was simply amazing. I'd stay here again, steps away from the beaches. You definitely need transportation to explore the island because this place is located at the outer part of the island. Perfect for quiet evenings and not as expensive as the central hotels!
This was the worst experience I have ever had in my life and I have traveled a lot. I went on a one week vacation earlier this year with my husband and my 2,5 year old baby girl. Upon arrival, we decided to ask for a bigger room and were asked to pay everything in advance. We were having a nice relaxing holiday util it was totally ruined the last day as by accident we discovered how the rooms are cleaned. Prepare to be shocked... The cleaning lady uses the same one cloth for everything. so she cleans the toilet with it and then continues in the kitchen area to also clean and dry... THE GLASSES! My baby had to be taking medication during our stay so each day I was giving her water in these disgusting glasses and in general were using all the cutlery, plates etc. The distress that was caused to us was beyond imagination. Suddenly my holidays became a nightmare. I had to start calling doctors and hospitals to check what my baby and us could get in our system as a result and if we needed any shots. I was crying for days worrying about my baby. They don't care about hygiene at all! When we confronted the stuff all we would hear was CALM DOWN. Because they did not want the other guests to listen to me, they only cared about their reputation being ruined. They did nothing about this, the hotel owner who I am still calling to this day is nowhere to be found. It was our last day so they just waited for us to leave and then it was business as usual. It is such a shame that this hotel has great reviews because apart from this event we too were having a good time but it is something that no one knows as they are never in the room when the cleaning stuff comes, they make sure to go when you are not around. And I am Greek, I want to support my country's tourism but this is just plain disgusting, playing with people's health like that. Don't risk it.
This place is amazing! We spent 3 nights here and we had a blast! Martha the receptionist is just amazing! The room is wonderful and always kept clean and the breakfast is delicious! We miss it already!
This place is gorgeous. Lovely rooms/apartments and great service. And we went at the end of the season so you could have expected it to have been lax but no. We had great food, drinks and advice by the pool, help hiring a car and booking excursions as well as some lovely farewell gifts. It's a couple of minutes stroll to the beach which is great and there are lots of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. We hired a car for a couple of days which is really great as you can buzz about the island and see the sights. Do not miss the sunset at the lighthouse!! We worthier in October and we are going back less than a year later!
We read all the reviews and were very impressed. When we turned up, I did wonder what we had booked it wasn't what I imagined. Both receptionists were lovely and couldn't help us enough. During our stay we realised how much we loved the place, it was very quiet and no problem with getting a sun bed. The breakfast was average and there wasn't much variety but the food which was there was very good. The beach for July was very quiet but again was lovely and peaceful. We ate out every night and our favorite restaurant was called Meet. Turn left at the seafront and about a 5 minute walk. The most amazing food, wine and the staff couldn't do more for you. I would stay there again most definitely.
We were staying tho this place for couple of nights during our visit to Santorini, but I would not imagine a better place to be! Everything about this hotel from staff to cuisine is just wonderful ❤️❤️❤️ Please try their BURGER you will never find anything like that again ☺️ Marillia Village has relaxing atmosphere, comfortable beds, beautiful view and kind staff. I hope you will enjoy it as much as we did!!!!!!
We stayed for a week at this hotel, loving every minute. The staff are so welcoming go above and beyond to help in any way. We were picked up from the airport (30 euros) shown around the hotel and any request was sorted out for us. The rooms are lovely and spotless. The breakfast is more then adequate and sets you up for the day. Bus stop outside the hotel and we explored the island using this. We went on the bus to Kamari but found once there that we could get on a boat back to Perissa, (which was good fun too) This was 5 euros each and saved a lot of time catching 2 buses. Had a brilliant week and would recommend this hotel 100 %
We stayed at Marillia Village from May 19 to May 25. It is located 2 minutes away from the beach! All the staff is very devoted, especially the pool bartender (who worked in a bar for 15+ years so don't hesitate to ask for any cocktail). The pool is intimate and the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach or a day visiting the island. It is really a peace haven located 15 minutes away from Fira and about 25 minutes from Oia. Everybody is really respectful and the atmosphere at the hotel is amazing. If you ever go to Santorini, you should stay at this hotel for sure!!!
