Excellent job. Attentive and professional staff. We had an excellent time and a comfortable stay at the Sheraton. First, the concierge- Naomi and Sebastian gave us excellent suggestions on places to go and restaurants to dine. The El Cid restaurant was great. Alejandro Guzman was an outstanding waiter! He hustled and I noticed he took care of other patrons with the same energy as he did for us. Alejandro answered our questions and spoke in English in order to help ensure we were getting what we really wanted. Finally, the morning breakfast staff did great too. Hugo and the young hostess lady really made my wife and I feel welcomed and cared for. Please tell the folks I mentioned they really made our stay fantastic! We will recommend to friends and we will come back one day!

Room was very nice, spacious and comfortable. The location is excellent with many restaurants around in a 10 minutes walking distance and very safe zone. The breakfast is complete with many choices of different fruits, breads, eggs, salads, etc. The people at this hotel was unbelievable nice, kind and helpful at any time. Always with a smile they solved problems if they presented or helped with advices if requested. Special thanks to Joel the concierge, Igor the bell boy, Ohel Mardons at breakfast (all breakfast staff were incredible), Sergio the manager and all the front desk staff. Excellent service.

Very embracing property and respite in the middle of otherwise often polluted Santiago. Quality control is lacking yet with stellar individuals that stand out: Alejondro G, waiter in the main dining room, and Fernzinia B, at the bar will communicate well and go beyond the call of duty for the gringa, while other staff seems lacking in training but otherwise always well meaning like all Chileans throughout the country. One can't go wrong with this Sheraton because it is minutes from the financial and business district without the traffic. One can hike the hills of the park out the back door of the hotel and see all of Santiago in one 360 vista for doing so. A nice and roomy retro Sheraton for it having been of the original properties dating back to the 60s?, 70s.\\ Have fun and be sure to ck in with Alejandro and Fernzindia.

We stayed here in December as part of a cruise pre-package we purchased. We arrived after a very long day and a half of travel, followed by a protracted immigration and customs clearance experience at the airport. Being anxious to check in, clean up and rest, we were discouraged by the length of time it took to check in to the hotel. The hotel also required a personal check-out at the front desk. Our room was okay and the included breakfasts were fine. Staff was friendly but the young women working in the lobby area bar/restaurant are in need of newer uniforms. Many of them were dressed in uniforms that were long past their best before date and, in some cases, didn’t fit the employee very well. I provided my membership/loyalty number to the front desk upon check-in but have yet to receive my points.

Let's start with something positive. Seems that the guest rooms have been renovated since my previous visit and the junior suite was fine, although was missing a work desk. This is is basically airline crew (Copa, Iberia, Alitalia etc) and tour group hotel and the service is lackluster. 1. Received an email prior to my stay (arrival day) that my reservation had been upgraded to a club room. Had to remind that Platinum members are eligible for space available suite upgrades (lifetime PLAT + Ambassador) and they were still selling them. 2. No bellman on sight when arriving on car. 3. Nobody at the SPG Gold and Platinum check in desk 4. Ask the agent where's the bellman in English and she asked for my passport in Spanish. 5. Samsung laptop and phone unable to connect to the Sheraton WiFi. Was able yo use the Luxury collection one. 6. Club lounge automated coffee machine was out of milk. 7. Service by the pool was non existent. 8. Housekeeping starts to bark like stray dogs at 8AM on the floors. Had to call the MOD to quiet them down. 9. Bellman was again looking when I was carrying my bag. Had to explicitly summon him before anything happened. The service at this Sheraton is absolutely horrible. I am surprised that Marriott hasn't purged them out of the system yet like they have done with many other non-quality assets.

One night stay here after a cruise and enjoyed the place. It was helped by some really hot weather. Pool area was clean and welcoming. Food was fresh, well precented and reasonable price. Bedrooms were good size and beds very comfy. Excellent air conditioning. Only drawback here was that the bedroom doors made a very loud bang when closing, and I mean LOUD! Other than that really enjoyed the stay here.

First a word about airport to hotel (any hotel) transfers in Santiago - when you arrive at Santiago, book your taxi at one of the desks BEFORE you go landside. There are too many taxi crooks waiting to prey on you when you step landside - it is a wonder the local authorities don't do something about them. The hotel is large and comfortable. Reception staff at check-in a bit cool & business-like. Didn't pre-clear a credit card so we had to pay at every purchase point. Concierge staff excellent and very obliging. Room smaller than usual but perfectly serviceable and perfectly comfortable. We ate satisfactorily in the bar on our first night - we arrived about 10pm from Easter Island. Breakfast was good on the Saturday morning but less good/ less satisfactory on the Sunday morning - the coffee refills were very slow. There was a very unsatisfactory moment when my wife asked for a coffee refill and got a cold cup of coffee from a flask that we had seen standing for maybe 15-30 minutes already. Maybe they had staffing problems that day. On the Saturday evening we took dinner in the buffet restaurant. There was a great variety of meat options. An Argentinian chef could speak eloquently about the various meats and how they had been cooked et cetera. We had a very nice Sauvignon Blanc. The bill was presented before we'd had coffee and had to be redone. This is a nice enough hotel. There are some customer care aspects that need to be addressed to create a more polished customer experience.

A lovely room overlooking the very pleasant pool area with a rather narrow, but adequate bathroom. No tub, only a shower with plentiful towels and plenty of hot water--a very welcome please after a long flight from Ohio. Check-in was quick, HAL staff was on site in the Lobby to provide information, pre-arranged tour information/tickets, and opportunities to purchase additional city tours if one so wished. English language skills of all with whom I met, other than a Housekeeping Supervisor, were far better than my Spanish skills. But, there were a small number of language difficulties with the Lobby Bar's waitresses. No problem with the bartender, however! One oddity in the room (as well as the public restrooms within the hotel), no facial tissue was available. Being part of the Sheraton chain, i.e. Marriott International, the lack of this amenity was surprising to me. The Buffet Restaurant was open and I enjoyed two very good breakfasts there. Lots of variety with fresh fruits that were delicious (as I found during my Zaandam cruise). For my dinners, I utilized the Lobby Bar's menu and was very satisfied. Very large servings of whatever I ordered and beverages very well prepared; I really enjoyed watching soccer on their TV while sitting at the Bar and conversing with other guests. I was there a few days prior to Christmas and the hotel's public areas were stylishly and nicely decorated. I was pleased with this hotel as part of my cruise experience.

I stayed twice about a month apart. The hotel is in a great location, at least to me. Some people may want to be more central, but I like the location close to Cerro San Cristobal, walking distance to the Costanera Center for shopping, and not too far from the central market and other places. The hotel has bikes for rent and we took advantage of those and rode the entire city. The room was comfortable and the hotel staff were good enough to get me into a suite on my second stay since I wasn't able to do it through the reservations system. The gym is small but well equipped. The pool is large with plenty of space and chairs for lounging poolside. The pool is just a round pool and nothing exceptional. Some of the rooms have decent city views since the hotel is on a bit of a hill. They were both good stays and I would stay again. Parking is expensive and they should work on cutting that price.

Thankfully we only had one night in this hotel, which is out on a limb as far a location goes. The rooms are ok and beds comfortable. A football team was staying on our floor and during the night went down the hall kicking doors. The service in the lobby was dreadful, having to wait an eternity to be served and then for our order. Forget the food (don't know about the bbq) in the lobby restaurant it is sadly lacking. A plus is that there is a very nice pool area.
