close to station and GREAT STAFF

The locations is not the best from town but it is across the road from a great shopping centre and 10 minute walk from the station which is in turn 10 minute ride from the main area [Plaza de Arms University De chile stop]. The best thing about the hotel were the staff. Staff would go out of their way to mark things on our maps, make personal recommendations and check how things were or things they were recommended. This was a close second to the rooms that were impeccably clean and had the fluffiest and whitest towels we came across in south america. The beds as well were fanastic.

The hotel was in good shape, close to a highway and little noise (you need close double windows), the room was clean but the elevator was a little smelly due to a recent painting). The breakfast was very good, the hotel service was good and nice. The location was Ok and 10--15 minutes walking to the shopping mall.

Good Location

Excellent location for Provedencia malls and restaurants, just a short walk over the river. Hotel has a tour car that can be be booked for airport connections at an additional charge. Hotel staff are very helpful and speak English if required.

Convenient and nice place to stay

I stayed there while in business trip and had a great experience. The service is great, I reached in the morning, 8am and I could take my room (it's not always the case, just because it was ready). Personnel speaks English, comfort of the room is GOOD! I had a room on 1st floor with a little patio with a table and 2 chairs so I could enjoy the beautiful weather - I got lucky I guess but at night you can hear the kitchen personnel having a drink at the end of their service, I just called the front desk and 10 sec after I didn't hear a noise! They have a nice pool with long chair and seem to have a nice spa as well. Breakfast was pretty decent! You have one of the biggest shopping center very close by, 5 min away walking distance, the neighborhood is safe, I was walking at night by myself, no issue nor feeling of not being safe. I highly recommend this hotel! Would stay there again!

Excellent location but accurately found via GPS!

Excellent location but it took us nearly an hour to find this place coming in from Argentina and with a GPS. Had to ask several stores where it was. Front desk on check-in in the early evening was just EXCELLENT. Made several calls for us when the recepient would most likely have spoken Spanish (rather than the primarily English speakers we are). Just a charming and helpful man. Volunteered to find a car and driver for us the next day if our original did not work out. Very helpful about the wi-fi. Breakfast was also excellent--lots of choices and pleasing surroundings. Room was roomy, bed comfortable, towels were huge.

No heater in the room...freezing!!!

Price was ok, across the highway is the costanera mal but you have to walk in the dark and no walkways to cross so watch out for fast cars...hotel is small but ok, worst part is that room had no heater and it was only 8 degress, it was freezing even with double blankets...i will not stay again...

Checked in early with colleagues, only one room available, told it would be 20-30 minutes, ended up 2 hour wait. Wouldn't mind if given realistic time. Local dogs howling at night are a real nuisance. Found room garbage stored in bags under bed from one day to next. Got some food poisoning from restaurant one night. Know it was there because otherwise was eating pretty much same as colleagues. Insufficient staff. On check out had a plane to catch, ordered a taxi, was going to be a few minutes, after 45 mins no show self and colleague had to walk into town to try and grab a taxi, was last one to check in to flight.

Poor customer service- did not recognize our reservation

We arrived and were very pleased with the exterior and lobby-modern, clean, nicely taken care of. However, that first impression was the last good thing about it. As soon as we approached the front desk, the clerk was barely civil, said he had never heard of us, and because we didn't have a print out of the reservation (in spite of showing him the email and conf numbers on our smart phones) he refused to honor our PREPAID reservation and said they were full. He called their sister property, the 3-star hotel down the street, and shuttled us there before we could protest. That hotel was fine, but very noticeably downmarket from the PLUS- no elevator, old rooms, though the people were nice. I tried calling in a complaint and they said they couldn't do anything bc they'd called the clerk at the original hotel and were told that we'd been given a comparable room. They asked that I fax in a complaint, which was impossible at the time. Overall, it made a stressful business trip even more of a hassle. Would not return.

great option with a few cons

I travel often to Santiago for business, and usually stay at hotels in El Golf. This Best Western option was a last minute decision that worked out great. The newest wing of the hotel is quite modern and rooms are very comfortable, breakfast are nice and restaurant overall is quite good. The location is walking distance to El Golf area but a longer walk than usual for me. My main gripe is the noise coming from the highway for rooms facing East, they really should have gone for noise-proof windows. I would stay again here but would ask for a room away from the highway side.

business trip to the Santiago area

Outside the city center so only by taxi you can go out to dine. No taxi stand so waiting 10 min Easy when by own or rental car as it is close the highways. But the driving instruction to get there must be more clear on their site!! When you have no plans for social live at night, just a good, clean, friendly, easy to reach hotel with a (too) simple restaurant, this is a very good place!

very nice hotel. all brand new. prices are very competitive. only disadvatages are: room size (pretty small compared to normal 4/5 star hotels) and walls are very thin which means that noise from outside is heard in the rooms

Great example of quality and value!

The only criticism that could be made was that the walk to the town center took about 20 mins. Not long, but in the heat of mid-summer it was worth mentioning. But the plus points so far outweighed this criticism, that I am almost reluctant to mention it. The other side of the coin is that being further away from the town centre meant a very peaceful environment!

An inexpensive hotel

Hotel room is clean and comfort. The swimming pool is a bit small but can enjoy super city view. Location is just 5-10 mins walk to the SKY mall, the tallest building in SA, but needs 15 mins walk to the nearest metro station. Breakfast is very good. Counter staff is very friendly, nice services.

PROPAGANDA ENGANOSA!!!

Foi péssimo. Anunciam um quarto novo e caro, mas na hora do checkin nos entregaram um quarto velho e com cheiro de mofo. Reclamei na recepção do hotel e informaram que não havia disponibilidade na parte nova do hotel, só na velha. Disse que estava muito insatisfeita por não ter esse tipo de informação no site de anúncios "HOTEIS.COM" e o recepcionista nos informou que não colocam para não ter esse tipo de preferência informada... que infelizmente não poderia fazer nada. Foi total propaganda enganosa e o café da manhã é muito fraco. A única coisa razoável é a localização.

Sorpresa en el último desayuno

Buena estadía y buena atención del personal. El desayuno estaba incluido de 7-10hs. Salimos del hotel a las 6,20. Nos cobraron $13.000 por dos personas aludiendo que no estábamos dentro del horario. Precio excesivo y sorpresivo. Mala política de servicios. El resto muy bien.
