We paid a lot of money for a 11 nights stay all inclusive in a delux suit apartment, it was dreadfull, it was dirty, the furniture was dirty and in bad state of repair, skirting boards was falling off paint work was a joke , both windows on eithere side of balcony was cracked and shattered badly, the food was terrible never hot al.ways cold or luke warm. yes u get free towels when ur all inclusive but if u want clean ones during your stay u have to pay for clean one, if you want entertainment at night ,it was a joke it was how to make a cocktail, fashion show, bird show, and a bit music the odd night, stay clear of this hotel
The Room and the View were nice! The Food was ok, (you have to pay for drinks separate) friendly Staff, BUT if its like a retirement home and theres NOTHING to do in St. Ursula, Puerto de la Cruz is in 10 Min with the Car reachable. (YOU WILL NEED A CAR THERE) I will not recommend it to smd between 20-40 y.o. For Seniors its ok, but not for the young people.
We travelled (three adult females) for a long weekend getaway in the sun. Upon arrival, the hotel upgraded us to an apartment as they said that would be more comfortable than the room we had booked. This was very much appreciated and the apartment had two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, bathroom and a very large terrace overlooking the sea. It was fantastic! Whilst it was a bit dated, the price reflects this. We only ate at the restaurant once, but this was very nice for a buffet and had a decent variety of food. It is a shame that the restaurant does not have anywhere to eat outside though. The spa was great, though you do have to pay more for it. It feels very new and clean and is a must for relaxation! The only downside is that the hotel is not near anything. There is one shop, for your daily supplies, but otherwise you have to travel. This did not bother us as we had a car (and parking was available on the roads outside the hotel), but it is something to bear in mind if you want to leave the hotel. The nearby town of Puerto de la Cruz is fabulous - a lovely feel to it and several great restaurants and shops to visit. Overall, the service at every stage was excellent, the pool area was lovely and quiet and we would definitely return to this hotel.
We booked the hotel and paid extra for spa access on booking.com but it wasn't written anywhere that 'spa' just includes indoor pool. We had to pay separately for gym access and sauna (both separately). The hotel had a problem with ants - found them everywhere in the bed, even after excessive cleaning. Breakfast was good, view was great.
Having read a few reviews I was a little concerned at first. When we got there we were warmly greeted and checked in very quickly so that we could go to their dinner with a show. I have to agree with some travellers - this may have been 4 star but it is more like a good 3 star. Positives - The food was very tasty and there was a good choice. At breakfast they would make any eggs or omlettes you wanted to order. Lots of space in the dining room and very cool and clean. No rush to finish your meal. The staff were very polite and friendly. Pool clean and un-crowded. Stunning views. Our juniour suite was very spacious and quiet and had a kitchen. Down side - Wifi only in the bar/lounge area but they don't have anywhere to plug your laptops in. All sockets were switched off during the day when the lights were off. I needed to work so I ended up having to work in my room a lot and use mobile data. Bar service took a long long time. The cocktails were nice once you got one but because not everyone was all inclusive there was no where you could help yourself to even soft drinks. Ice creams were at quite limited times. While it was very big the room had clearly had a lot of maintenance in it's lifetime. I could see a lot of maintenance going on so hopefully it will be returned to its 4 star level. You had to pay to go to the spa and gym. I thought being all inclusive we would have at least limited free access to these facilities but none. The pool looked great but I wasn't up for paying £24 for the 4 of us to try it out. Even a 1 free swim or 1 free gym would have been nice to include.
Booked 2 nights in Panoramic View Suite. Very spacious room with large balcony, good bedroom with comfy bed. Adequate kitchen and nice clean bathroom. Lovely views to Atlantic ocean and Mt. Tiede. Nice relaxing weekend. Bar prices were very reasonable service was good and staff were friendly.
We booked this because I was tired of driving all day and decided not to go back to our base in the south. We booked this as it was the closest to the restaurant we were and oh my god. Looks and feels like travelling back in time. Drinks at the bar- horrible. Breakfast: made for all inclusive, guessed it, horrible. The room: old things and spiders.
Happy with our stay . The suites are ideally suited to families. The panoramic views are exceptional from there rooms that have the views of the back . The amenities are very good and the children love the poolside area . Although I did not use the spa, it looked pretty good from my casua viewing and there are plenty of treatments available at a cost! The food is very mediocre and although we were half-board we ended up eating most of our dinners at restaurants in thE adjacent towns of Puerto La Cruz and la orotava
Stayed there for Easter break . Weather is very good +33c View - 8/10 Rooms 6/10 Food 5/10 Service 4/10 Staff 5/10 4 stars is too much for this hotel . For all incl you still have to pay for the gym 6€ Indoor pool 7€ Internet only in the hall Towels 10€ deposit Parking 6€ for the night 25€ per night for the see view rooms My opinion is that this hotel is overpriced for what they offer
I only booked a few days before I went and didn't book transfers. I flew into Tenerife South Airport and la Quinta Park Suites is in the North of the Island. However, it's easy to use the excellent TITSA bus service and costs a fraction of taxis or mini buses hire. When I arrived I was disappointed I did not have a sea/mountain view and when I asked to change the wanted to charge me 25 Euros per night additional charges. The hotel was not too busy and I think they could have accommodated this request if they choose. I was travelling solo and had booked all inclusive for 7 nights. The food was pretty good, perhaps a bit repetitive. The drinks were good and the coffee at the bar was excellent. The staff in general were really friendly and delivered a really good service. Only a few members of staff let them down in their distinct lack of customer service by taking forever to serve guests. The weather was about 25degrees in the last week of March. By day, I lay on a lounger with a panoramic view of the sea and Le Tiede majestically overlooking. The pool was heated and was a lovely temperature. There was entertainment every evening which was good as it is a bit far out in Santa Ursula but suited me. The gym is fairly well equipped and the spa and treatments are wonderful. On a Tuesday evening the Gala dinner which includes 5 courses and wines, along with entertainment was excellent. I travel many places worldwide on my own and would certainly consider revisiting La Quinta Park Suites again in the future.
