I only stayed here for a quick overnight, late flight in and early flight out, just enough time to sleep, shower, and question my life choices. The place is straight out of the 1980s with the same carpet and a cloth skirt around the bathroom sink. It honestly felt a little haunted, like I might wake up to a ghost offering me coffee. When I checked in, I asked for toothpaste but forgot to grab it. Later I messaged to see if someone could bring some up since I was already in my pajamas, and they said I could come down and get it. So yeah, service isn’t exactly their strong suit. Everyone was nice enough, but no one here is going above and beyond. It worked for a few hours of sleep, but I wouldn’t stay again unless I was doing ghost tours.

Loved this historic hotel. Bed was super comfy. Room was large, bathroom was clean and roomy. Service was excellent. I requested a fan and mini fridge in the room and they were delivered right away. I would definitely stay here again. Lots of dining options within very close proximity.

Enjoyed the Hotel La Rose thoroughly. Great check-in and staff. Only complaint would be no refrigerator. We needed a refrigerator while staying there. Fortunately we were able to get a bag of ice.

Check-in was easy and staff was very friendly and professional. The hotel is old, but very well kept and clean, which made it all the better. And the location couldn’t have been a better, right in the Santa Rosa Historic Railroad Square, near many restaurants and shops! The restaurant doesn’t have a breakfast, but there is a very nice coffee shop (Aroma Cafe) across the street and a fantastic breakfast restaurant (Omelet Express) just around the corner! Definitely staying here again the next time we are in Santa Rosa!

Quick staycation. Was pretty bummed by how outdated even the carriage house rooms were… the photos are misleading. Our room didn’t smell the best and it just felt old and dingy. We also had to get a plunger and use it every time we used the toilet which was NOT ideal.

My 5 day stay was absolutely perfect. Pablo and another front desk woman (can’t remember her name) were so kind and helpful. My room was beautiful and always clean. The bed was super comfortable and I loved the little front patio area. Dining options galore as well! Highly recommend!
