4/10 Poor

Room 205. This room was a “suite” so half the room was the bed and the other half was a couch. The room was uncomfortably dirty. There were marks on the walls, floor, couch, couch pillows, and every chair and stool. The security latch on the door was broken in half but still attached to the door. A panel on the A/C unit was broken like it had been kicked in, but thankfully the A/C did work. The window screen was bent like it had been pried open, and we noticed some of the nearby rooms had damage to the door frames on the outside like someone had tried to pry their way in. There was also damage to the side of the counter and the smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag. We reported all this to the front desk immediately after check in but were not offered another room. Damage/rooms in this condition must be common because they had a list of charges posted at the front desk (fee for broken door, fee for covering smoke detector, fee for cleaning up vomit, etc.). Our neighbors played loud music until 2am, but we didn’t bother to complain. I think overall this place is so cheap because it is in a bad area and is geared toward a certain clientele. For sure we saw a working girl (no judgement, just informing).
