Flamingo Resort has a Year Round Heated Pool, Excellent Dining option and is conveniently located. It has a Health Club that guests can use & has several exercise activities ongoing that one can take advantage of, including Steam and Sauna. Hotel staff can do a better job at letting the guests know of this.
Beautiful lobby, welcoming reception, good restaurant, and comfortable rooms with a great shower. I will be happy to return here.
Fantastic swimming pool 80F open until 10pm and hot pool. Beautiful retro modern architecture, dancing some nights, comfy rooms, great bedding, plenty of parking scattered around radiating arms to private and quiet away from traffic. Wonderful restaurant food focused on health and tasty, another great cafe nearby. Close to multiple shopping centers, medical district, couple miles from freeway. Staff seem stressed as so many in service industry are these days but they do try hard. If you are an early riser like me be patient in the restaurant if you arrive when they open. Found them still setting up for the day with a waterfall of clashing silverware, unlike the serenity of evening dining, though then was miffed that the bartender scooped up the tip right away when I was having a drink. Still in all a great experience and highly recommend. Just show some compassion for the help.
The cleaning crew was outside of our door when we checked in. Trash had fallen on the ground from their room cleaning. For the next 24 hours there was a nasty used Q-tip and used hair band on the middle of floor directly in front of the door that entered my room. I had to step over it to get in or out of my room. In the room there was a ton of hair from the previous guest in the bathroom on the sink and the shower. I have a son who is the manager of housekeeping for a hotel. I know the challenges and demands of house keeping. I am seriously grossed out from this experience. For $400 a night… this was a total fail. I would appreciate a refund, I did not appreciate the bodily function nasty things that marked this stay. When cleanliness is so important, multiple layers of possible moments to do a good job seriously failed.

Very quite, bed was comfortable, room was a good size. No carpet so the floor could get cold bring slippers or flip flops.
Had such a great stay. The hotel remodel is fabulous. The pool and hot tub were luxurious and the free yoga was a bonus. Will, for sure, stay here again.
Family friendly and fun
We liked the pool area. However, our room was configured where the bed was facing the window and not the TV. Plus, one of the valances fell half way when I was pulling on the chain to bring the black out curtains down (potentially harmful). Furthermore, the restaurant on the property was closed so we didn't have an opportunity to try out their cuisine. Overall, just okay.

I am elated that you enjoyed yourself at the property. I apologize that the Front Desk did not adequately communicate all that you had access to, including some of the classes offered at the Montecito Heights Health Club.
