Parking was convenient, the bed was clean and comfortable, and the towels were clean. However, the room needed to be refurbished. The tub had a slow drain problem. I will not return.

I don't often write bad reviews but I feel I should weigh in here. There were not many rooms in towm to choose from because nearby wildfires had displaced so many people. This property was not like the pictures and it is important to note that, like others reported, the carpet in our room was very dirty. This made me feel uneasy about the entire room although our beds seemed clean and nothing else was terrible. I felt I had to inspect everything because I had put my family in the situation we were in. There were people wandering the parking lot and coming to and from what seemed to be a nearby liquor store. Our door was (in old motel style) just feet from said parking lot. To the credit of management, there was a security guard right outside our door (by chance). It is entirely possible that the good people at the Sandman hotel are really trying to do a good job but there is just no excuse for filthy carpet. I could make other criticisms but don't want to be overly critical or unkind. To sum up, I really wished I had chosen the Quality Inn (which I passed up) over the Sandman because they probably at least have higher (corporate) standards. By the way, housekeeping also came early even though we were staying only one night and it was nowhere near checkout. To sum up, by my standards, this place would only do in a serious pinch.

Pool hot tub and bar are fantastic! Staff was really helpful

Very nice property nice rooms and staff!! Good place for the price.

Friendly staff, quick to clean rooms, complimentary breakfast.

Super convenient to everything. Pretty quiet and staff were very nice. The continental breakfast left something to be desired. Overdone hard boiled eggs and dry pastries. OTherwise, a nice basic hotel with good pricing.

I appreciate the friendly staff. The room was comfortable and clean.

Spacious and clean room, close to restaurant and shopping centers, easy access to travel destinations like wineries

It was extremely overpriced for what it provided. The food at the pool was substandard.

Overall, satisfied with the stay. The shower/water pressure is perfect!

This felt like a motel and not like a hotel. I asked if I can switch my room from two queens to one king upon arrival and I was told that they will upgrade me for free this one time. I end up getting a $35 charge on my card without knowing. The staff made several errors upon arrival and they did not seem to care much. The room was clean but nothing exceptional. The bathroom was configured in a weird way, placing the soaps right next to your elbows, so when you wash you keep hurting yourself unless you turn sideways which is odd. The pool was closed, and I specifically picked the hotel because it stated the pool was open. It is incredible to me how they manage to not forget for things they promise to be free, but they do not provide any credit when things they promise do not work. I will not stay here again, since the location is far from the center as well. Did not worth the money at all in my book. There are better choices in the area.

It’s a remodeled motel. But now it’s really cute and hipster. I think it’s geared towards tourists who would like to budget, but want something with more atmosphere than a motel 6. The location wasn’t pretty, but it’s just off the highway so it’s convenient. We were there for business so didn’t matter this time. The nicest thing about it is the pool, hot tub, pool bar and lobby. The rooms are actually better than what I expected. Not at all what you would typically find in a cheap motel. Linens feel great to sleep in and can walk around without feeling gross. Every room faces the parking lot, so no views. All you have is a big black parking lot to look at. I highly recommend a room in the back next to the pool bar, because the pool, hot tub and bar area is where it feels like a nice laid back vacation and you forget that you’re next to a highway. Breakfast area is cute and basic. Cereal, muffins, pastries, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, strawberries, granola. They have big fruit baskets on every table. Will do a great job to get you started for the day. You can walk to Trader Joe’s and the gas station. There was a microwave and fridge, which we used for snacks and wine. Staff is super friendly and a great reflection of the hipster, down to earth, good vibe of the place.

A Retro Property with alot of charm! They pay attention to detail and work really hard to make sure you have the best stay possible. Great location next to the freeway and right around the corner from Trader Joes!! Overall a wonderful time spent there!

We lover the updating and wish the pool/bar were open later. Everything else was great

Hello D. Mellon, Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to leave us a review. Our carpet has been an issue that we are addressing by cleaning them internally as well as using an outside vendor. The issue we are having is they don't release the stains. We were supposed to have new carpet installed at the beginning of the year but due to COVID we are still waiting for things to line up. We hope start some of the rooms soon. Thank you again for staying with us and bringing some of the issues up that we need to work on. Best regards, Adrian Vasquez Operations Manager
