This is an all inclusive place, so you will not worry about yours meals or beverages. In the morning the buffet is excellent with a variety of meat or scrambled eggs or fruit accompanied with a good cup of coffee or juice. The waiters Anahi, Guillermo and Gabriel make you feel like you are in your house. La palapa front beach restaurant have no comparison. They have a great menu for lunch and maybe you will be attended by David, great guy and very good attention. For the dinner you have the opportunity of choice two different international cuisines with tasteful food, my only concern is that one night they only offer seafood in both options. In general they are super friendly and servicial. Just one thing more, the WiFi signal is weak so I had to use my on data package.
We had a great time at this eco friendly resort from the beautiful views and semi private beaches to the excellent service from Saul who helped make our trip even more memorable! Can’t say even about how great Saul was.
Great hotel for a family vacation. The kids enjoyed the kids pool and the fact that they we can just walk down to the beach. La cruzecita is very close and also not far from the airport. They also have signs of taxi fare rides which is a plus for me. Would definitely stay here again.
I dont recommentd this hotel the personal is very nice but the hotel is falling apart we stayed there for a week and they never fix the phone although we report it since day 1 after our 2 day the tv lost the signal and they did not fixit until 3 days after when it rains the water get inside the room honestly the worst hotel I ever stay the only nice thing there are the employees and that is why I give them 1 star ooh I almost forget to mention our toilet was flooded 😡
Stayed for 1 week - Feb 12 to 19. About 45 min shuttle from airport. Very small, only just over 100 rooms. Quite a few steps to get to the beach from the main resort area & a good walk from the rooms down to the pool/buffet area. They do have a shuttle to transport you, so that is OK. Buffet choices are much less than other locales we have been at, however food was good. Also, for 5 of the nights we could take in a la cartes. Staff very pleasant. Not a lot of entertainment & 1 bar (out of 3) open at any time. Not a place if you are really into partying, however found it very relaxing & enjoyable. Weather is outstanding! Hopefully, we will go again
Is a nice, newer hotel, quiet, clean, all rooms are oceanview. You can watch the sunrise from your balcony. Is a safe community, cheap to take a taxi and visit the nearby city Crucecita, have some good mexican food, buy fresh fruits , walk around and visit the city. If you didn't exchange money at the airport, that is where you can do it, at any ATM machine. The reception at the hotel doesn't have that option. The food was good - I am not a very picky person. The beach is nice, but the whole week the water was very rough, rocks all around makes it very dangerous for inexperienced swimmers. Most of the people stayed at the swimming pool. Will I go back ? Probably not. Snorkeling is one of the main reasons we travel to the South , and here you couldn't do that at the resort. Yes, there were all kind of trips offering snorkeling, but if you have to do that on daily basis, the vacation becomes too expensive. Met some wonderful people - that was the best achievement of this vacation. Do I recommend this resort ? Yes, for somebody who wants a quiet vacation, yes.
We stayed at Isla Natura during the week of Apr. 20 - 27. I never saw a cloud all week ! The weather was perfect. I said it was small and different because as far as resorts go it is only 135 rooms or so and has 2 beaches which are small. One is not good for swimming while the other has quite an undertow so you have to be careful as it is a constant battle to stay on your feet. Our main complaint at the beach was the lack of shade and useable umbrellas. Most were ripped and tattered and had no good anchorage to the wind. They should absolutely invest in some permanent palapas or shade structure on the swimming beach. The food overall was good with different themes and special stations for extra items such as tortillas. The staff were excellent and we had no trouble communicating with any of them. There is a shuttle that will drive you up to the main lobby and down to the lower part. It is quite a climb to the top if you choose to walk it especially after a few days of doing it ! Luis is most helpful and took my wife and I on a bike tour. Very friendly guy with good local knowledge and will help you anyway he can. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Isla and met some great people as well. I would recommend this hotel.
Of all the all inclusive resorts this is probably the smallest and most charming. With beautiful views of the two beaches and the crashing waves on the rocks waking up in the morning to look out was a pleasure. The rooms are straightforward with lots of storage and very clean. Housekeeping staff may not speak English very well but they managed to understand anything we needed. Our housekeeper was Margarita and she did a great job. Nice firm bed with lots of pillows and an air conditioner that handled +33C with no problems. The resort is built into a hill so to get to the pools and restaurants/bars you can either walk down or take the shuttle service. It's a great workout walking back up :-) The food is good but limited in choice. The Missus is celiac and when introduced to Jessy she immediately understood "gluten free" and made sure that she was taken care of at every meal. One night we had a lady making ice cream to order; absolutely fascinating as we have never seen this before. It was delicious. These are the rock stars that took care of us. Geraldo - the manager who leads by example. Rolls up his sleeves and served dinner and dug holes to create a new safer, and prettier lighting system for the walking paths. Ruth - the VP of First Impressions at Reception. Luis - the entertainment staff. Worked all day and well into the night to make sure that all guest had fun and enjoyed their stay. Pepe - hospitality manager and acted as bartender. No matter what was needed, he was there always with a smile. Omar - a great bartender with a great sense of humor Jose, Jose, Charlie, Max and Vincente - the waiters who worked morning to night looking after all of our needs. They were truly amazing. This resort does whatever it can to please all guests and it starts at the top with Geraldo, the GM.
If you are looking for a small, quaint location to just relax and get away from the cold, this is it. The rooms are very clean and the views are amazing. It is close enough to town as well and it is easy to get a taxi. The restaurant and pools are at the bottom of a hill but there is a shuttle that you can take to get to and from the hotel on a regular basis. The staff is nice and will do anything for you, though they are limited in English, which can be a barrier at times. This is a family resort and there were lots of kids but it didn’t seem as though you couldn’t relax. The week we went, you could typically get a lounger any time of the day. The meals were typically buffet most days and are only open for a set amount of time. There were a few days where they had a set menu for dinner. Some of the ammenities were in need of repair, just as the grates around the pool, but this can be an easy fix.
Just returned from 2 weeks at this resort, and contrary to previous travelers its not as bad as they have indicated. The maintenance of the resort is a concern for sure, however the food was good, rooms were cleaned daily and the drinks were always available. The pool wasn't as clean as I have experience at other resorts, however they try to keep things clean. The staff was always friendly and as helpful as possible with the language barrier. Not all of them spoke fluent English. If you are looking for a completely relaxing place with quiet beach and close to town this is the place. We walked into town every morning and back, great people and sites to see. If you are looking for the party resort this isn't it.
