A group of family and friends get together every year for the Santa Fe Wine and Chile Festival. We've been going for over a decade and this has been the best year yet thanks to Antigua Inn. The home was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined! Laine met us on our arrival and showed us all the amenities the house had to offer. Every room had everything we could've wanted or needed and then some! There was food in the fridge for us to prepare our breakfast and drinks in all the fridges, even in the bedrooms, and snacks in every room! There was a bluetooth Sonos sound system that we put to use late into the night without any complaints from neighbors. We will definitely be staying there every time we visit Santa Fe. Thank you Laine!!
Antigua Inn is always a wonderful experience! It's a gem and we are never disappointed by their friendliness and warm welcomes! The rooms are well appointed and there is always a fridge full of cold drinks and waters. Highly, highly recommend Antigua Inn for any length of stay in Santa Fe.
We arrived late and in the dark and I can tell you that our hosts gave us a very warm welcome. This little place is a slice of New Mexico. The walls are the beautiful warm colours of the area and the house is full of beautiful hand crafted details. It is an old adobe house. There are five bedrooms all with their own bathroom. The doors are heavy and beautifully carved. This house has been lovingly restored by its owner. It has a great kitchen that is equipped with everything you need for a great breakfast. The sheets are high quality and the beds ... well I could hardly wait to get in and fall asleep each night. The dining and living area has a great fireplace and lots of reading materials. Each room has its own TV but we never turned ours on. Each bedroom has its own entrance to the outside and so you can come and go as privately as you wish. There are decks outside with comfortable chairs where you can sit. Each room has cozy bathrobes and good showers. The house is convenient and everything is Santa Fe is within walking distance and less than five minutes to the main square. Every morning we got up early to walk and enjoy the little expresso bar and bakery across the street. If you want a place like home away from home this is it. They are busy during the summer months but now is quiet and I would recommend this place for a great getaway.
My (then) fiancee (now) wife, visited Santa Fe to find a place as a wedding venue. We stayed at the Antigua Inn and were greeted with the most personal service, quiet surroundings and beautiful accommodations. The meals were wonderful. The Inn is within walking distance of everything one would want to see in downtown Santa Fe. The themed rooms are small but efficiently laid out and amazingly decorated. It is a must for a romantic getaway.
What a beautiful and magnificent place. This b&b is first class all the way. The bed is so comfortable you will never want to get up. The doors are all hand carved as is the dining room table. The hand carving even extends to the headboards and armoires in the rooms. The breakfasts are all organic. If you think organic means tasteless, then you never ate here. The house brewed coffee is even organic as are the snacks provided gratis in the room. Refreshments are provided free of charge. The inn and in particular the rooms are immaculate and beautifully appointed. The inn itself is perfectly situated on a quiet side street just a 5 minute walk to the plaza in one direction and canyon road in the other direction. If you are looking for the perfect getaway this is the place!
We chose Antigua Inn based on reviews and location. We did see one negative review and after our stay decided that person must have been crazy. The location is very convenient to the Plaza. Our room was the smallest at the inn (mariposa), but served our needs and we were comfortable. Noise levels were minimal. Breakfast was great, as well as their private label coffee and kept us full until mid-afternoon. When we get back to Santa Fe, will book a room again. We are actually talking to friends to get a trip together and rent the entire place. Laine goes out of her way to make your time in Santa Fe wonderful
My husband I were stayed at Antigua Inn for 4 nights. Laine is a true advocate for guests. Every morning, organic farm eggs with vegetables from her garden, replenished us for the day to enjoyed Santa Fe. Room was very comfy, complementary water, coffee and snacks were vital to hot Santa Fe weather. A small cozy quaint place with warmth of care, added to memorable trip. Thanks, Suki Lee
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the wonderful Antigua Inn in Santa Fe and it is phenomenal, exceeding all my expectations. The inn is a restored circa-1906 adobe, with supreme hospitality and incredible attention to detail. Its gorgeously-furnished rooms, gourmet kitchen, in-room refrigerators, hand-carved furniture, and sheer loveliness made our stay magical. Everything is upscale about this place: fresh flowers in your room, they roast their own coffee beans (order yours at AntiguaCoffeeCompany.com),brew your coffee on a Jura, and use their own farm-fresh eggs. And the breakfasts are amazing. They handled my gluten and dairy sensitivities perfectly: Delicious quiche one morning, amazing blue corn pancakes the next morning, and fabulous huevos rancheros on our final morning. The food was better than any restaurant in Santa Fe. And the inn is conveniently located within walking distance of the Santa Fe square. I found this inn because it was recommended in Food & Wine magazine and I’m so glad I did.
Antigua Inn was a fantastic place to stay at in Santa Fe. It was just like being in the comforts of your own home. Breakfast was cooked/prepared with care by Laine and Crystal every morning. they roast their own coffee, which you can have at the push of a button in your own room! The place was clean, and it was obvious how much thought and care was put into making this place perfect. The Vineyard Room was a good size, and even had it's own humidifier. The Inn is walking distance to city center. I would definitely return!
Our three day stay at Antugua Inn truly exceeded all expectations. The Inn is an authentic Adobe home that has been beautifully renovated. Laine and Randy, artists and owners, have designed furshishings and decorations that are a feast for the artistic soul in any of us. Their attention to the smallest of details Is an expression of their love and appreciation for the spirit of this very special place. Breakfast is carefully and artfully prepared each morning with New Mexican inspired selections, including blue corn pancakes, huevos rancheros, and applewood bacon! All in all, a delightful stay in Santa Fe....we'll be back!
