Great location, just a short downhill walk to main part of town to explore, shop and eat. We stayed in 2 bedroom/2bath unit connected to the spanish immersion school. Very secure with locked gate and 24hr guard. They also have several units a short walk up the hill away from the school. Beautiful courtyard. Free washer/dryer to use. Has a small gym but equipments are old. Staff can help you with booking for tours or transport on weekday but no one will be around after 6PM and weekend except for security guard. It was too quiet when we were the only people around after 6PM. Caution- follow checkin instruction carefully since Casas del Toro can mean either the units connected to the main school (actually CPI) or the units up the hill (casas del toro). This is important if you are using private transport so they know where to drop you off as well as pick up. You don't want to carry your heavy luggage down the hill.

Inside apartment, there's a binder with lots of info for your stay, like where to eat, etc. It also offers amazing sunset view from the room balcony and dining room window.
