The swim up room was great and the pool and pool bar was wonderful. Johnathon, Rolo and the other staff did a great job. This is a very relaxing slow-paced vibe which is exactly what we needed.

My stay at Azura was fantastic! Everything about this adult-only hotel felt relaxing and well thought out. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff were incredibly attentive and always went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. One of the biggest highlights was the beach of Carrillo, located right next to the property — absolutely stunning and peaceful, easily the highlight of the entire trip. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I’m giving it four stars only because nothing’s ever completely perfect, but this came very close! I’d definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, adults-only getaway.

What a wonderful resort. The beds were comfortable the air conditioning appreciated and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Also, when you stay at an all inclusive resort it can tend to have mediocre food. That was not the case with this property. Our lunches and dinners were fantastic and it just added to our trip being delicious and relaxing!

This isn’t a large resort. Everything closes at 10 literally everything. I don’t like that the restaurant only opened on certain nights and I had a swim up room but no one came to clean the leaves out the pool other then once at night when we’re trying to get dress. The staff was slow moving. All request had to go through WhatsApp and I found my self sending the same text more than once. No live activity, games, or entertainment on this resort which I didn’t like. Food was good, drinks depending on who made them if they was good or not. This resort is for relaxing only that’s it.

The resort and its location was gorgeous and lush. Tucked away in a remote part of Costa Rica, Samará is blessed with mountains and ocean views. Azura was quiet escape from the hustle and allowed us to feel relaxed. The resort restaurants were excellent, my favorite being the Chill & Grill. I was underwhelmed by the spa service and the gym, however it didn’t dampen my overall experience and happily recommend anyone to visit Samará and Azura for a calm trip.

Very pretty hotel and staff is friendly. My only complaint is the pool was not clean nor was it circulating water, so it was stagnate with people making it worse. Also the pool bartender had to keep leaving for supply reasons, so took forever to get drinks. We just walked over to main bar each time we wanted a drink. Lastly, the food could have been better but it was edible. Super quiet and relaxing though with pretty ocean and beach.

I wanted to love this property, but it fell short of being a true all-inclusive 5-star experience. The food was subpar, and you have to schedule your meal time with the concierge every morning. They were understaffed, and it takes a while to receive any orders; However, the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. It's a great place if you want to just relax and not be around a lot of people.
