Beautiful views! We truly enjoyed our stay here. We had a bungalow close to the beach- like 25ft away! Rooms were clean and loved the patio facing the beach. The staff were so friendly especially at the restaurant. Because of Covid-19, we only had one option for restaurant but the food was good that was included in our all inclusive option- food and alcohol- for the price it was a steal! Loved that they extend their restaurant service while we sunbathed on the beach. Wish the pool bar was open but understood why it was closed because of the pandemic. The town of Samara is a 20-30min walk on the beach. We look forward to coming back with a group of friends!
nice property. needs work in places though. food for all inclusive was not worth the money and was boring
We were given 100 dollar credit..staff did not know what we could use credit towards. Unfortunately last day we found out it was $25 toward 4 excursions. Disappointed we could not use it elsewhere or at property store. Wish we knew ahead if time what credit is for to utilize it properly
No water in room No coffee in room No warm water Pool was disgusting filled with frogs. Gym has 4 machines of which 2 were broken Poor hotel staff customer service They claim to be a 3 1/2 star hotel they're not even 2 stars The list goes on.....

This is a beachfront hotel with ordinary food and amenities. The staff is friendly, pool and restaurant bars' guys are very nice. However, the guy selling tours in the reception area is completely irresponsible. If you want to book something for fun just call Info Center in Samara and save your time and money.
This was our first trip to Costa Rica, and it was very nice. A lot to do in Costa Rica, but this hotel was hours from the Rain Forest and because of it's location (Zone 3), many activities were just not feasible. If we were to go again, we would definitely stay elsewhere.
the hotels employees do not speak much english so communicating is difficult. the hotel restaruant was always out of 5-10 items on the menu. the free wifi was nice when you could get signal and stay connected. My back is still sore from the bed. The A/C went out the first night but was fixed. We had no hot water the last two days of our stay. I will never stay in this hotel again or recommend it.
Location is great. Rooms, grounds and amenities are top notch. It was a VERY welcome change from where we were before. Close to town, but far enough away for privacy. Pool was excellent. Food was not very wel prepared
The hotel amenities were fine for the price. I found the hotel staff to be somewhat unfriendly and inattentive. The food here was the worst I had after travelling two weeks in Costa Rica- incredibly bland and overpriced. Be prepared to pay $6 each way for a taxi into town. They advertise a "free shuttle" to the beach but when I mentioned it, they seemed to not know what I was talking about........
This was our welcoming entrance to the hotel Look at the pictures. !!!!!!!!!
We enjoy a lot with my family and they have beatifull beaches, and the sunset was incredible
We got a great deal which helped us book at a significantly lower rate. That being said, this is not a hotel for those who have U.S. expectations of accommodations in Latin American countries. Being raised in Mexico, I think the hotel definitely had a rustic and relaxing atmosphere. The beachfront property is worthwhile on its own. The breakfast is filling but definitely not finger-lickin' good. Also the hotel is currently undergoing some major renovations so there was a good deal of noise but luckily one doesn't hear it much once one is in the room. Overall, the staff was very welcoming and helpful and we would definitely stay again.
The rooms were clean, but being an eco-hotel the bugs present. The airconditioning worked well, but when you add that your on the beach it's well worth it.
fantastic!!! on the beach. beautiful property. good security and grear food.
This may be my 2nd favorite place in Costa Rica. The kids can play pool and air hockey. Rent a kayac and go to a small island off shore. The beach is secluded and a long walk will get you to the small town. The ocean view rooms are relaxing. The waves are small and great for kids!
It was amazing! So relaxing and enjoyable! The service was great, the rooms were luxurious, and the grounds beautiful and private! This was the prefect place for a vacation/getaway! I would return to this hotel in a heart beat!
The hotel was gorgeous and set very close to the beach, which is as beautiful as the grounds the hotel is on. The staff is so helpful and will do everything they can to make you happy. If you stay here make sure you meet [...], she is the most helpful person and she is always available to help you when in need. We were on our honeymoon and she set up a very romantic dinner for us on our last night, and even let us borrow the restaurant's sound system to dance to our first song. All of the staff is very helpful and most of the time they can speak English, if they can't they atleast understand you enough to get what you want. The pool was also amazingly clean for how many trees and bushes there are around it. The restaurant is very nice as well, never had one complaint about any of the food. Everything was fresh and made right there in the kitchen every day. The wait was long for food, but that is because everything was made on the spot. The hotel also provides plenty of entertainment from the pool to setting up tours for you in the surrounding area. Again, if you get a chance to stay at this resort make sure to meet all the staff because they are very friendly and helpful.
The Villas are OK for the value. Location is great to get away from the world. No TV, radio or phone in villas. Clean beach and great for swimming. The only thing I didn't like was the rationed ICE! Only 2 or 3 icecubes per glass! When I asked for more, the bartender replied he was told to only give that much and if the customer wants more to go to the store and buy your own bag of ice ! What!? If it was that they were running short and they were at full capacity I would understand but there were only 6 persons staying in he whole compound. Not good if they want customers to return, huh? Maybe that is why the staff reflects the lack of friendliness.
