This is awesome, one of my favorites so far this trip.
Being in the middle of the jungle was amazing. The trees, flowing river and birds chirping made the experience complete. The staff was nice except on Saturday when the "cantina" opened with a rude bartender/dj. The jacuzzis pictured on the ad are ice cold and we wish we would've known before booking since we really needed a hot bath after all the dauly walking we did. The food was subpar and fortunately the only good restaurant nearby was El Pelicano. Nonetheless, the price was right. The nearby Catarata Manantial de Agua Viva was up the mountain and was quite the experience. There's a restaurant on the top of the mountain called TiKo Restaurante Mirador Surf & Turf that had a spectacular view but again the food fell flat and expensive. Thank you again for the experience. Next time we will hotel-hop so to speak to experience all the different locations Costa Rica has to offer. Avoid Jaco Beach at night.

Dear guest, Thank you for sharing your experience and providing your feedback. We highly appreciate this opportunity as it is our best resource to improve our service. La Cantina is one of our best attractions, we regret that the experience did not meet your expectations, in regards to the food quality in our restaurant, we are glad to inform that soon we will be launching our new menu. We are very sorry for the misunderstanding, we are working on improving the information since we have room temperture whirpools, not jacuzzis. I hope you can reconsider coming back to Villa Lapas Jungle Village to experience a more enjoyable stay next time. Thank you for valued comments! Stephannie Carranza Concierge
