Quiet little place to stay. The staff really does meet you outside when you pull up and shows you around. The Inn is close to State street, where you're able to walk to the shops and eat. Service was excellent. When we arrived, we were greeted and shown around the property, assisted with the luggage and showed us to our room. For breakfast, we arrived a little early, but the waiter and kitchen staff accommodated us as we needed to head up the coast to the Monterey area. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed breakfast outside on the veranda. We would have loved to stay longer, but time did not allow.

They serve breakfast, cookies late morning, hors d'oeuvres in the evening - everything is tasty fresh and plentiful. We will definitely be back.

I stayed in the Carriage Room which is separate from the main house. The decor was lovely. I used the wi-fi the whole time and it was very reliable. Breakfast time was leisurely and enjoyable, each guest or group of guests at their own table with very attentive staff.
