I had booked room with king bed but what was given was queen beds saying i will get $50 credit. But what I got was only $20 parking credit as ot was prepaid stay. Worst part is Pics were of main property but the room were given in another lodge like area saying thats pur new area. Corridor smelled and restroom had ants. Elevator also had weird smell. Only guest service was good. But not at all value for money. Money wasted. Will not recommend or will not prefer ever. I was told because credit can not be given gor prepaid stat, i will be given points in 2 to 3 day. But npt seeing yet either. Wont choose this option

This was an refurbished apartment, it was not a hotel! Had no reception desk or lobby. No staff on lite. Fortunately, I read the entire confirmation and it did states no check-in at hotel. The property was not in Hyatt standard. This Santa Barbara House reveals what is becoming of the Hyatt Brand. I have not been satisfied with my last stays at a Hyatt. I will attempt to post pictures and you decide for yourself

Terrible customer service!!! Ordered room service and not only did they forget once but twice and had us waiting late in the evening for our dinner. The next night they did the exact same thing and forget to drop off a wine opener we called and requested. They made us feel like a 2nd class citizen the entire time. Not going back there again.

Very clean and pleasant room and environment! Helpful staff and beautiful property

Good place with easy parking and pets allowed , value excellent.

If you stay here, definitely make sure to get a room on the 2nd floor. On the first floor you can hear all t the noise from room above. Hotel is noisy, near freeway and train tracks. I did not aleep much at all. And housekeeping will be vacuuming and talking loudly from early morning until late afternoon. For the price I paid $225, this room is not worth it.

The Santa Barbara House is around the corner from the Hyatt Centric. All the amenities are around the corner at the Hyatt Centric this was small walk and did not bother us. There is park across the street with a nice play ground for kids and SB zoo is on the other side of the park. Room service was great and pretty quick also. We had a great stay.

Staying in Santa Barbara to celebrate anniversary. At check in was offered complementary champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to celebrate. Nice surprise!

Hotel staff was aggravating and hotel was way overpriced.

We were really upset to be hit with a 'destination fee' that was per person at the end of our stay. We were not notified about this fee by orbitz or when we checked in, only when we checked out. We would not have stayed here if we had known about the fee.

Since the hotel was full, they tried to put me in an annex called The Santa Barbara House 1/2 mile away from the main property. It is an old apartment building with no amenities overlooking a park where homeless cam out.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating and helped make our stay in Santa Barbara a memorable one!

Spacious and clean rooms. Free parking. More of a private experience as the buildings are smaller. Ask for a room farther from the elevator as you will hear it operate if your room is nearby.

We got sent to the Santa Barbara House which is 1/4 mile down the road from the desk stuffed in between apartments. Felt like a 60s built average apartment building. Room was hot/humid with view of a wall and weeds. Had trouble turning on and adjusting the air conditioner which was hidden behind some cheesy panels. Awoke to some neighbors on the balcony smoking something to reggae music. Staff was awesome, very smiley and professional. I know it's a classic beach town with older places, but I thought a Hyatt owned place should be a little more up to date, especially so near a major city.

Location great for all the restaurants but disappointed and a bit deceitful as this is not the main Hyatt. All the photos make it appear as though you will be staying at the Hyatt only to find out it is an annex building. You do have full access the to Hyatt but again very deceiving.

If you want a quiet corner of SB, within walking distance to the beach and other attraction, at an attractive price, I suggest the SBH.

We're a family of 4, my husband & I along with our son & daughter. My teenage son of course wants his own bed so we have a tough time finding a room to accommodate a roll away bed. This hotel offers a room with 2 queen beds & a SOFA BED. Amazing. Just worked very well for us.

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. I do apologize for the noise disturbances during your stay. It is true that the Santa Barbara House is close to the train and freeway so there is some noise occasionally. I also apologize for the noise from the housekeeping. I will be sure to report this to our housekeeping director to ensure that it does not reoccur in the future. Thank you again for your review. I hope overall you enjoyed your time in Santa Barbara as well as the staff here at the hotel. We hope you can come visit us again for a better stay in the near future.
