When you walk into this one level spacious 1760 square foot home, you immediately feel the comfort of this newly renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom. The living room is 27x27 with a fireplace, dining room with sliders to your private patio.
We are a level home with two primary suites, the first with a king bed, large walk-in closet and private bath, the second primary with a king bed, a glass door the patio, double closets and a private full bath.
This open floor plan has wood floors throughout and lots of natural light.
The patio is private with fruit trees, and surrounding gardens. Grilling on the patio with lounge seating and large dining table makes this open space very inviting.
We offer a washer and dryer, private two car garage, making your Santa Barbara stay easy, convenient to everything and super comfortable.
Hendry's beach and Boat house restaurant is 2 miles with a walking path to the beach. Whole Foods, and Gelsons are minutes away. Shop La Cumbra Plaza with Starbucks, Lure Fish House, William Sonoma, Lulu Lemon, Pottery Barn, and many other shops and restaurants in walking distance. We are 5 minutes away from down town State Street.

The duplex was roomy, conveniently located, and comfortable. The owners were very responsive and communicated well. We liked the radiant heat - we were never cold.
We really enjoyed our time at this property. The kitchen was nicely appointed and it was a great location for us! The back patio is very private! Our first week was extremely hot but the last three were beautiful! The many fans were helpful! Lots of nice areas in neighborhoods to walk! Fun saltwater pool! Janet and Steve are very friendly and accommodating!

Great landlord & great condo
I have had a great experience here. Janet is very hands on to make sure your experience is great. Cleaning back patio & cleaning screens & outside windows are little things that make my stay even better. The condo was very clean & ready to move in. Janet even recommended things in the area to do on my time off. And the lime tree in backyard helped make my margaritas even better.
One of the reasons that attracted me to this house was the air conditioning was part of the amenities listed. Lo and behold I found out that there was no air conditioning, yet it was advertised on the site along with bikes (there weren’t any).I also did not pack our beach chairs and towels since they were listed as well. I had to shop around to find them and purchase them. On arrival I also was not able to park my SUV in the garage until I had moved furniture there that took up a lot of the space. Then there was the DVD that didn’t work. The owner purchased a new one that required a professional technician to hook it up after I had spent a lot of my time trying to do. I was successful in hooking up the new Cox cable box that was needed to be replace one that was not able to do recording. It seemed like it was one thing after another in the beginning.
I have rented over two dozen houses in the last 10 years and I never had as many items that were in need of attention then this house. I was constantly texting the owner in order to resolve the issues. Thankfully she was very cooperative and attended to them immediately.
In my experience over the years I have found that it is helpful for owners to provide a directory of information regarding the operation of the technology in the home as well as general helpful info to make your stay more enjoyable. There was no welcome note nor list of information concerning good local restaurants or attractions etc.
Although I was disappointed in having to address so many things that should’ve been taken care of prior to my renting the home for over six weeks I am grateful that the owner was willing to help resolve all the problems immediately. Hopefully those who rent this nice home in the future will find all their needs provided for now that several issues have been resolved. I believe the owner now needs to attend to the garage issue or change the advertisement. It always good to know what to expect and what not to.
