Great apartment for a couple. The host was a new owner and was working out some start up kinks, but Jeff was quick to respond and a great communicator. The apartment is in a wonderful location, just a couple blocks to the beach, the marina, State Street, Funk Zone and tons of great restaurants. I was there for 3 weeks and discovered new areas and activities every day. I had a great stay and kind of fell in love with the town. I'd go back!

Pros: nice apartment that was clean, with quality furnishings and well equipped. Plenty of room for two. Great location within walking distance of the ocean and many downtown attractions. The owners were gracious and easy to work with.Cons: no A/C in upstairs bedroom which got hot during our stay. The stairway is steep and may be a little tricky for some to navigate.

great neighborhood and close to the action of Santa Barbara. needs updating - the kitchen ware is old and not in good shape- we did not feel comfortable using any of the pots and pans, etc. There were no sheets for the hide-a-bed (which had a big stain on the mattress) and the two blankets were balled up in a drawer and smelled very musty. One thing I did not see in the photos was the canal in the back of the property. It was pretty unsightly to look at with floating debris and green water. Even though it did have negatives, there was some charm too it and if you want a place in close proximity to downtown it is a fine place to stay.

NEEDS UPDATING

The configuration of this small unit is less than desirable and not suitable for senior citizens. There are steep winding stairs to the bedroom, closet and bath. All the windows are void of screens so there is no ventilations or air conditioning.

Relaxing in the Sunshine

We loved being a couple blocks from the beach in a quiet neighbourhood. We thoroughly enjoyed having our breakfast and lunch at the unit inside and up on the outside deck and dinners out in the nearby restaurants. The access to transit was great. Our property managers were friendly, helpful with recommendations and prompt at responding. We had a wonderful experience.

My friend and I took a girls trip to Santa Barbara, and this unit was perfect for this trip. It was walking distance to everything we needed - beaches, urban wineries, restaurants, and shopping. Perfect little place

We took our 5 year old son for a 4 day weekend in Santa Barbara and what a treat! This place is small, yes, but has everything you need! We made breakfast every morning, packed fresh lunches from the fridge, and ate dinner out on the town. We walked to the beach, the pier, and several other attractions. The only “struggle” was the parking, but it was NOT hard to find a spot on the street. 10/10 would stay again!
