David the front desk staff was helpful, making it easy to check in so with the guy ( did not get his name)who worked for valet parking. He was very kind and willing to help. Rooms needed upgrading lighting wise a little dark on our room,air-conditioning was a little loud. Beds and pillows were fresh and clean and comfortable. Location was superb 🙌 and the view from our room were blocked by the trees and shrub in front of the patio otherwise nothing too big too complain about. We had a wonderful stay and slept comfortably. We will definitely come back and stay at the Hilton again.

Room was very tired and dated. There was also some work happening in the communal area where I was staying and It absolutely stank. Carpets were waterlogged. Staff were every nice and location was great but my room was very dated, old wallpaper peeling away, damp marks on the ceiling, old facilities in the bathroom. Wouldn’t stay again

For the pricepoint, and suites "facing" the ocean on the main floor - amenities were dated - esp the bathrooms in both our rooms. Also the rooms were pricer than usual cause we went on a long weekend for my aunts birthday. It is what it is, don't expect too much.

The hotel is old and it shows. The staff seemed tired and felt as though there was minimal effort put towards impressing guests. Our "junior suite" was just one big room. The couch was stained. The carpet dirty. Ocean front rooms mean the rooms are facing the ocean which was way far a way once you looked past the round coliseum type courtyard which seemed like a huge waste of space. The pool was nice but there were a bunch of trash and plates from where guests were sitting. It needed to be bussed. The complimentary bikes were the only highlight of the weekend.

Room was double booked. Had two men walk into my room(they were given keys). Lucky my boyfriend was with me and stopped them from coming in any further. Called front desk to get clarity on what was going on. They apologized said they “didn’t know how that happened” and offered me a $75 food voucher. We did use it after checking out and getting back home my card was charged for the meal. Room was small, sofa it the room looked dirty and was ripped from one side.our room had a small patio with ocean view when we went outside the patio furniture had been stripped down of pillows/cushion.nothing but metal bars. Called front desk again took them over an hr to get someone up to my room Mind you we paid $900 for this room. It was my bday weekend, first time visiting Santa Barbara beautiful place, but this hotel was a nightmare. Will never stay with them again.

The stairs to our room had a horrible smell. The bathtub was peeling. The toilet would barely flush the smallest piece of tp. The patio was very dusty and full of spiderwebs. The patio door couldn’t lock so it was held closed only by a metal rod. It was kid friendly and the wait staff at the set were great, but that was the only good thing about the place.

Service at check in was not the best. We got a room facing the parking lot. I asked if there’s any other room. She said the active hotel is booked. She lied. When I walked around at night there were many unoccupied rooms. I won’t be coming back here again.
