Clean, quiet and lots of parking.

I liked the walking distance to beach, but I didn't like having to walk by all the homeless people who live in the park across the street from the hotel. Many of these people live out of their cars which are parked there all day and night with the owners drinking and smoking. Many of the men didn't wear shirts had lots of tats and were scary looking. On our first night, a man cooked his dinner in the parking lot on a Coleman stove. Maybe he was the guy who left the empty wine bottle in the parking lot for the entirety of our stay. We didn't have housekeeping services the second day, but they gave us a $20.00 credit. The first day housekeeping consisted of them emptying the trash and putting clean towels in the room after 4:00PM. The room was very small, the AC Unit and frig were very loud especially at night when you were trying to sleep. This noise was only quieted by the loud noise made by the ice maker in the hallway. I feel the owners should have security at this location!

You have to check in at the main property which is not called Palmoro House. No one would know this going to this property. No where was that indicated with my reservations. I had to call the hotel because I could not find a check in area only to be told it's a couple of streets away at a hotel with a complete different name. Nice, clean room. One peave, guide doesn't work on the TV remote control.

Great place to stay. Walking distance to the beach AND the zoo.
