The hotel is old. Rooms are ok. The jacuzzi was horrible. Be aware of how dangerous it is. The intake is on the very top of the jacuzzi, its super old and it suked in my daughter's hair. No sign that is exposed like that. Her face was almost under the water. This is not ok. Horrible experience.

we searched this place out as we had stayed there almost a year to the day of our most recent visit and had enjoyed our stay. Our first visit was pleasant, the staff was friendly, hot tub hot,and our room was clean, comfortable and a decent price. Wow, has a it changed in a year! None of the staff was wearing masks at anytime, the front desk had half a wall of plexi but the staff would come out from behind there and interact with you. Our room was in serious disrepair, the panel of the heater unit kept on falliing off, there were holes in the wall, a spot of blood on our sheets and it seemed that the room hadn't been normally cleaned, let alone enhanced cleaned due to covid. There were pieces of food on the floor which our dog found and ate, dust and particles on all surfaces, hair on the walls of the bathroom. Our room was located near the center of the hallway on the first floor and you could hear everything. The room next door was having a get together past 130 in the morning. Woke up to a truck reving its engine in the early Am outside of our window. Hot Tub room was freezing and the water was luk warm, we didn't attempt to use it. About 1/2 the guest were wearing masks, but again none of the staff were. We heard the cleaning lady in our hallway say she'd been out sick for two days but would do what she could, she also was not wearing a mask. The people who run the place are freindly and it's a inexpensive dog freindly hotel, but I don't think we'll stay there again.

Very friendly staff. Zero problems with the service. No elevator and the bathrooms are showing their age a bit.

Decent hotel for the money. Room was clean and bed was comfortable enough.

Definitely a resort town atmosphere. Shopping right across the street. Tire shop next door. McDonald's if that's your thing next door. Refrigerator was one of the smallest I have had this year.

This hotel has been run down and lost its luster. The staff was friendly, but most the hotel needs maintenance. My family had 2 rooms and both had issues. One of the beds in our room had a crater on one side that was impossible not to roll into. The TV remote did not work for the OLD crt tv. And the toilet did not flush well. They did give us a slight discount for the toilet and we didn’t mention the bed because we already unpacked and didn’t want to move. The room my sister got had dog food on the floor by the sink and the carpet was full of lint and hair clumps. It had obviously not been cleaned. She changed rooms and thought it was better. It wasn’t. After she unpacked she found blood splatters on the wall in the bathroom. Not a couple drops, but a fine mist that was sprayed on the wall. The girl working the front desk came up to clean it. Outside there were constantly people smoking by the entrances. I think they all worked or lived there. I know of at least a couple of the rooms that are full time apartments. Also while passing the laundry room on the way in, we could smell Unburnt marijuana. We really wanted to leave the night we got there, but didn’t want to pack the kids back up and felt the exposure damage had already been done. We put the dnd sign on the door the whole time we were there so we wouldn’t have anymore surprises. We will not be coming back to this hotel.

very helpful staff. the hot tub area was great for the kids and the breakfast was really good

•Front desk staff was friendly. •Low price. •Breakfast was so unappealing & unhealthy we went elsewhere. •Hotel had poor ventilation, in general. It always felt muggy and stuffy. •Room was OK but had a very small sink right inside the door. •Showerhead was very bad- painfully powerful water pressure in direct hose-like stream. •Housekeeping didn't seem to do much- pulled blankets back up on bed but left pillows amess, which made me question their other efforts. •Walls were very thin.

The staff was quite friendly; the man in charge of maintenance was quite helpful when my key didn't work; the breakfast was good; the decorations were nice and fitting for the area.

Room was clean and hotel centrally located. Breakfast a nice bonus. I would stay here again.

Breakfast adequate; whirlpool not very clean, hardly warm, no handrail to whirlpool. No hair dryer in room; no attempt to provide one. One miniature soap; threadbare towels. Locks on outside door didn't work. Hall rugs stained. Room cleanliness marginal. Bed was comfortable. No handrail in tub for access or support. Lobby nice and internet access good. Log furnishings quaint. Only curbs and steps for hotel access -- no ramp. Some staff excellent, others not so good. I am sure one can find better accommodations for the money.

Location met our needs. Visits to Sand Point, Switzer Ski resort/Huckleberry Festival, and Bonnars Ferry.

Nice average hotel. Very rustic. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only problem was the air conditioner did not work very well and it was unseasonally hot

Everything I was looking for and good service. Spend the night within 10 miles of great ski slopes.

Totally free of hassles. check in sleep, breakfast, check out. Done. Everything precisely as advertised. All one needs for a weekend or week of skiing at Schweitzer mountain. And less than 10 miles from the skilift.

Clean, pleasant. Good value. Excellent base for skiing at Schweitzer.

Needed a hangout for some time of skiing at Schweitzer Mountain. Days Inn at Sandpoint is within 10 miles of the slopes. Super friendly staff, warm, clean and quiet. Could not ask for more. Room includes fridge and microwave for independent self catering.

This was a good value motel for our needs. Would come back again if in the area.

The building is wood framed, so don't stay on the ground floor unless you want to hear the people above you walking. Room had been smoked in and sprayed with that awful hotel coverup spray. Breakfast was meager.

Close to Schweitzer Basin, super clean, quiet. Across the street is a supermarket with deli and organic section. Staff very helpful and friendly, hot tub and sauna were clean, room fully stocked and made up. Will definitely stay again.
