The food at the Sampan restaurant was awful and the servers didn’t have a clue.
It looked a little bit out dated but the staff was really nice.
It was close to the rental car village and had a quick shuttle service to the airport-very convenient. However wasn’t too pleased about paying for parking on the premises for the short time we were there.
I didn't like the odor of cigarettes thru out the corridors. Really appreciated the cleanliness of the room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The quality of the food in both restaurants was surprisingly great! I did find the nightly rate a little on the high side
The Crowne Plaza had easy check-in and a friendly staff. Our room was spacious and the bathroom had all the amenities. We were pleased at the chocolates, cocoa and free shortbread biscuits that were in addition to coffee and tea. The bed was comfortable and the WiFi was free and easily accessible. We would definitely book this hotel again!!
It's close to the airport terminals, but not the closest. Shuttle bus ride to T3 is only 1 min. About 3 mins to T1 & T2. Large parking lot for those who drive. Fills up towards evening. Check in is speedy if you don't get there when the shuttle bus unloads lots of guests. It's an old building that has rooms and bathrooms updated. Our room has a mini fridge Beds were comfortable for a good night's rest though I was woken up by a very high pitched whine around 2am. Tried to locate the source by turning off fridge and TV. Finally discovered it was the fan motor of the HVAC unit over the entrance. Stepping the fan speed down a notch eliminated the sound. Breakfast buffet was very good. Prepaid for lower price when I checked in. Paid for 1 hour parking to get settled in, then returned the rental car nearby. The Restaurant is open only for dinner and menu has Chinese and Thai items. Didn't dine there as we had eaten elsewhere earlier. Shuttle bus is on demand - have to let the receptionist know when you need to get to the terminals. They do not run regular schedules. There are phones located at the main exits of arrival halls in the terminals. Look up the hotel number there and dial to let them know you need a ride. Overall, very satisfied with this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again.
