If you’re under 40, do not stay here. It’s in the middle of nowhere, 45 minutes from everything. The food is average and the drinks are bottom shelf.

Honestly this resort is beautiful the views are to die for and the staff is friendly the problem is the dining options at night they are bad the service is very slow and they got the orders wrong a few times. The food was not good and that’s a huge part of your stay the buffet is great it should be open all day. It’s also far from the rest of the island so if you want to go anywhere expect to be in the car for over 30 minutes or more. Loved the facility love the staff but I won’t be back to this one. We also found that it lacks entertainment and it’s boring at night unfortunately.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this property. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the services we received during our stay, everything was excellent. All-inclusive is definitely the way to go. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We ordered room service every morning, which was always delicious and always delivered with a smile. We met many people vacationing there and learned a lot about the island from the employees, and even our shuttle driver shared details about the island's history. Overall, a great experience, and we will definitely return.

Room no issue. Not up to standard for all inclusive. Help at the hotel are NOT interested in satisfying basic requests bordering on laziness or company policy. Food is very restricted on what you can and can not do. Food is not available all the time and even though NO reservations are required you may get to eat at 9 or 9:30. Not one I would recommend

The pool was okay. They don’t have enough staff so it takes 2 hours for room service. A drink at the pool takes an hour and the dinner service is even worse. Also you can’t get food at the pool you have to dry off and change and go to the restaurant. Wouldn’t stay here again. 5 star prices without the 5 star service

The property and landscape was stunning. They upgraded us to a room with our own pool that was perfect. The staff were all great and such a beautiful location. The breakfast and lunch buffet were great and we liked the South American restaurant, Tierra the best. The Italian and Asian restaurant weren't really good. Special shout out to some stand out staff, Sophia, Denise, Lorenzo, Alejo, Melisa and I believe her name was Evelyn at breakfast outside. We will definitely be back.

The hotel is not ready for guests. It took us nearly 2 hours to check in. We could not go to our room for the first time without a Butler, and none were available. When we finally got to our room, the mini bar was not stocked. When fully stocked, it only has soda, juice, and beer. Liquor is not available in the room. We were not told that they do have chairs at the beach, others at the property told us. If we wanted house keeping, we had to call for it. We ordered room service for after the evening show, it was delivered prior to the show. There is not enough wait staff in the restaurants, so even though there are tables, unless you go at 5 or 9, you have to wait. The preferred section, is open to everyone. And the preferred bars still poured well liquor. It was not worth the price and does not live up to the Secrets name.

Overall enjoyed my stay. Rooms and hallways were very clean and staff were all very nice and welcoming. My only feedback is that the jacuzzi is not hot only luke warm, you only feel the difference of warmth if you come out of cold pool water.

Food was decent, very secluded. Terrible dining out experience.. Habachi chef catered to Spanish speaking couples only and didn’t speak English for 80% of the performance. Housekeeping, you almost always had to ask for everything. Purchased room with private pool.. not private, connected to all other rooms and no privacy at all, all patrons can see you, out in clear view of public pools. We were considered a preferred customer.
