I expect more from a resort and hotel.com

I booked through Hotels.com. The room said King size Ocean view and oceanfront. It was not and the hotel said it does not book the ocean front rooms through hotels.com. Sure enough that room had been removed. I paid more to move to an ocean front room. The bask and brew restaurant has excellent food and service. The room was a bait and switch and I cannot trust hotel.com to give me what I pay for in the future. The ocean front room was excellent. The water pressure was ridiculous - it bare drizzled out and actually stopped completely. The maintenance guy came and took the filter out of the spout and it worked fine.

I have been coming to Sea Crest since I was a kid with my parents in the early 80’s. I have seen multiple transformations over the decades. Still the best sunsets and walks on the beach!

This is a non smoking hotel and there were people next to us smoking in their room and made the entire second floor smell like cigarette. It was awful each time we walked out of our room. It felt like you were in Reno.
