I can't say enough about Vicki and Kenny and Emily's House. I was looking for a venue for our small wedding and from my first phone conversation with Vicki, she completely understood what we needed and I had complete confidence in her ability to make it all work. Prior to the wedding my fiance and I took two trips up to Paso to make arrangements for the wedding. Since we were from out of town and didn't know anyone in Paso, Vicki drove me all over town introducing me to party rental people, florists, bakers and photographers. She even found us an officiant to conduct the ceremony. In the time between visits Vicki kept in touch with me, making sure I was checking tasks off of my to-do list, and confirming details. The house, which is a historic farmhouse, is very charming, and is kept in impeccable shape by Vicki and Kenny. The backyard is spacious and beautifully landscaped. It was perfect for our December 1 wedding. We only had 25 guests, and due to the real possibility of rain, we had part of the yard tented. Vicki and Kenny went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that our guests would be able to stay dry and comfortable, even if it rained. As it turned out, the rain cleared just in time for the ceremony and it all came together perfectly. In addition to all that, Vicki prepared appetizers and the entire wedding dinner, which was excellent! Along with prime rib, A beautiful butter lettuce salad with bleu cheese and homemade dressing, Vicki made potatoes au gratin and green beans, as well as homemade dinner rolls and homemade butter. Amazing! All in all, it was as perfect as we had hoped, in very large part due to the huge effort put in by Vicki and Kenny. We will cherish our memories of our wedding and these wonderful people, and will be going back as frequently as possible!
This was a perfect place to stay! Walking distance to downtown, super comfortable beds, yummy homemade breakfast and The inn owners Vicki and Kenny were such great hosts! It’s is surrounded by a beautiful garden and oak trees. We will be back for sure!
My husband and I stayed with Vicki and Kenny at Emily's House for a long Memorial Day weekend and could not say enough great things about our stay. They were both very kind and very accommodating from the beginning. In addition to their wonderful hospitality, they took the time to pick us up from the airport and also planned a fantastic day of wine tasting for us. We loved waking up to a fresh pot of coffee every morning and indulging in fantastic, delicious breakfasts. We also enjoyed having porchside conversations with them in the afternoons. Emily's House is also in the perfect location to walk around downtown and nearby restaurants. You should definitely stay at Emily's House if you are coming to Paso Robles!
Ditto all of the reviews. i would like to just show up there every Friday night for dinner and Sunday am for breakfast. So fun to sit in the kitchen , just relax and chat. Everything was perfect and what a great location. So easy to walk in to town for shopping and dinner. Hope to stay with them agin soon.
My daughter and I stayed at Emily's House for Harvest Weekend, the wine tasting was wonderful, but, the best part was coming home to this B&B. Vicki and Kenny were fantastic hosts, they have done a wonderful job of making you feel at home in their home. Breakfast was beyond our expectations and the conversation among the hosts and other guests were an added bonus. The house is charming, comfortable and clean and the grounds are peaceful. Can't beat the location, short walk to town. We will be back!
Charming, warm hospitality, walking distance to central to Paso Robles' restaurants. Vicki and her husband, Kenny are the most accommodating hosts offering all the details for comfort. Breakfasts are scrumptious. We stayed for 3 days at this exceptional B & B would definitely return again.
This 3 room B&B was AMAZING. Vicky and Kenny, the owners, were more than helpful, perfectly accommodating and very knowledgeable. Missy, the assistant was an AMAZING cook and so nice and friendly. If there is room, this is always going to be my first choice when visiting Paso Robles. We visited as a birthday celebration, and they helped make it a memorable one. Bubbly, cake and flowers on arrival and all. Very well done.
My husband and I stayed here 2 nights for an anniversary trip, and it was a great find! Delicious breakfast, walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants, and Vicki was full of wonderful recommendations for wineries and restaurants. Perfect place to stay for a relaxing weekend of winery tours!
This is more than your average B&B! My husband and I recently stayed at Emily’s House for 4 nights. The big red house is beautiful and I don’t think the pictures do it justice. We stayed in Emily’s room, which was nicely appointed room with an en suite bathroom. The room had two luggage racks, which was a nice touch. Many places only give you one, which is always an inconvenience in a room made for two. There were also many other nice touches like a lint roller, corkscrew and plentiful toiletries. These things are just small examples of the hospitality of Vicki. Vicki and her husband Kenny were the most fabulous hosts! They were welcoming, friendly and full of Paso Robles recommendations. We mentioned to Vicki a few things we had in mind to do and within the hour she had printed multiple maps and had a list of great suggestions. Vicki also took us out on winery tour one day and we found her suggestions fantastic. Both Vicki and Kenny were easy to talk to and we found ourselves talking with them quite a bit. On the last night of our stay, Vicki made dinner for us all to enjoy together. Her dinner, as well breakfasts were delicious. Lastly, the location can’t be beat! The B&B is a short 5 to 10 minute walk from all the downtown restaurants and tasting rooms. Just like many vintage homes and B&B’s, the walls can be thin and the doors creaky so if you are light sleeper or need uber privacy, take note. But for us this was not an issue and we had the most wonderful stay enjoying Paso and our fabulous hosts!
Definitely a place to stay at and one I will revisit. Beautiful house with custom rooms in the downtown Paso area. Away from noise but close to the freeway and all the local wineries and hot spots. Vicki and her husband were a pleasure to talk to and so very kind and accommodating. Vicki made us an amazing breakfast that beat any kind of restaurant or 'continental breakfast' at nearby hotels. She was also helpful with recommending wineries and places to eat locally that we may not have known about.
