Steps away from the beach

I have stayed here several times and it never disappoints. Small hotel with really nice renovated rooms. Rooms seem like an Airbnb style or at least the ones I’ve stayed in. I’ve stayed in room 208 several times. It’s a king suite — the bedroom is separate. Living room has a queen sleeper sofa. There’s a full kitchenette with everything you need. Rooms are always very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. We got a call as we were driving into Pismo to ask what time we planned on checking in. I let her know what time we would arrive and asked if we could park there if our room wasn’t ready and she said absolutely! She called back and let us know our room was ready two hours before check in! Super sweet and unexpected plus! I love that they have beach toys in the parking garage that we can borrow as well. We will always book here when available. However, it’s usually booked for last minute trips.:. I don’t blame anyone. I love this place. Free parking too!! Plus, it’s a few steps from splash cafe and the old cinnamon roll place. Yummmm

Room 303. Perfect spot near the pier and beach. The room was clean! There were pots, pans and a Kurieg coffe maker. Staff were nice and friendly. However, we ran into a few hiccups! The room was ready at 5 o’clock instead of 3. The pull out couch was horrible to sleep on! I would definitely come back again, but a different room.

Great stay with some minor notes

The good: staff were all very nice, great location next to all the restaurants and the beach. Had a great view of the beach from the small patio. The room was clean and stocked. It was nice having a dedicated parking garage. The not so good: the info for the property on hotels.com (as well as the hotels own website when I double checked) said check-in was at 3 pm. We timed our trip to arrive at 3 so we could get our stuff put away and start exploring the area. When we arrived, we were told that our room wasn’t ready and they would call when it was. Since I assumed it would just be a couple minutes, we waited in the car. Eventually I had to go back in the office at 3:45 to ask again, and the young lady said she would run upstairs and check. She came down and said it was ready. Other than that, the bed was kind of lumpy and not very comfortable. The rest of the stay was great and there were no other issues. Overall: I would still stay there again. The positives definitely outweighed the little inconveniences.

We had a wonderful stay at the Beach House Inn & Suites. Dezra at the front desk was great! She was kind, full of helpful information, and very professional. The room was nice, had everything we needed. Ocean view was great. The oversized deck was perfect for watching all the beach activities and viewing the sunset. The fireplace was an added bonus. The reasons I did not give it a 5 star rating: the bed pillows need replacing ( they are flat), the bedspread needed washing (smelled dusty and not fresh) and the deck furniture is sub par (chair pillows need replacing and metal table is rusted).

Stay away from Room 303 Pier

I have stayed here before and always find it great. However this visit was a disappointment. Room 303 Pier had changed their sofa bed to a less adequate one. False advertisement with a picture of old bed. Terrible night sleep as you could feel the metal and wood. Fireplace didn't work, heat didn't work. I will stay at this inn again but never Room 303 Pier.

Great place to chill

Time on-site was great. The proximity of local area was awesome and room had a fantastic view of beach. Room was spacious and only area to improve on was a minor issue with sink in restroom (drain plug stuck) & screen to patio was torn on bottom. Overall would recommend place for anyone wanting to get away and chill.

Our room, the Crows Nest, was a little small, but worked well for myself, my husband and our 12 yr. old grandson. Room was clean and the beds comfortable. Sophia at the front desk was very friendly and very helpful!
