Good rate, but complimentary cocktail tasted like chlorine, door look was temperamental, the noise from the floor above was loud and the shower gel had not been refilled. On the plus side, the complimentary breakfast was better than some.

Thanks for a cozy place to stay while traveling

They work hard to make this place an excellent choice. If you are sensitive to sound though the rooms tend to have highway noise. The welcome drink and breakfast help you feel at home and this time we found a little grassy dog potty fenced area.

Nice Hotel With Great Free Breakfast!

Pros: the breakfast was amazing!, nice heated and clean pool and hot tub with towels available around pool area (but it doesn't open until 10:00AM), close proximity to the beach, allowed me to check in early and check out late (with a fee), quiet and felt safe, there were grills available to bbq food, comfortable beds (but very thin covers). Cons: it was a $29 a night pet fee, we had hard wood (not carpet as pictured) and it felt disgusting on our feet, there was no tub (a shower only) and I have a special needs child who needed a tub, the AC only blew into the bedroom area and it was so loud it sounded like coins dropping on the roof so we barely used it, the smoke alarm malfunctioned in our room on Day 4 at 7:30 AM and woke us up (the maintenance worker who arrived was very unprofessional and made comments toward me that made me feel uncomfortable), we had to ask every time we needed new bath towels and sometimes it took awhile for them to be delivered, the staff was nice but they had different answes to the same questions.

Balcony slider was wide open the night we arrived in room and did not shut properly. Lock mechanism was broken and when notified, front desk staff were resistant to reassigning my daughter and me to a different room. Instead, forced us to wait for Maintenance who then spent a good half hour finagling with the lock only to leave us with no option to open the door once it was jerry-rigged shut. 2nd night at 1:00 AM - CA DOT was outside our window for 2 hrs working on the onramp to 101 with loud equipment and yelling. Not hotel’s fault but since the patio slider was not sealed properly we could hear everything. Expected more from a hotel named Oxford Suites. Will not recommend this hotel.

The bathroom was dirty at check-in. The room layout was odd with the bathroom sink located in the bedroom. The hotel does not offer maid service for stays 3 nights or less. The pictures online are not representative of the property—it is much more rundown in person.

We had a great stay at Oxford Suites Pismo Beach. The suite was clean, spacious, and very comfortable for our family. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful, and we especially enjoyed the complimentary drinks at the bar in the evening — such a nice touch after a day out. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was convenient for both Pismo and nearby attractions. Overall, a wonderful stay and we’d definitely come back!
