Room was clean, although the bathrooms were a bit grimy. The staff were incredibly kind. The location is a bit farther away from the rest of OSJ, but only a 20-30 minute walk from everything. They have their own parking lot, too.

Juliette Hostal has potential, but cleanliness could be improved. When I stayed, there were a lot of young ladies, and it felt like there was drama and tension in the place. I understand guests enjoy going out, but quiet hours should be enforced so everyone can rest. Convenient location, but it didn’t really feel like Puerto Rico’s culture in the establishement.

Enjoyed my stay at Juliette Hostel, got to meet wonderful people there and the hostel is only 45 mins away from Viejo San Juan and playa Peña (by walking). Only discomfort was the AC on full blast at night, but other than that it was a good stay at good rate.

I was a little nervous after reading the reviews before I went BUT I’m either very low maintenance(I am not) or other people have too high of expectations(more likely) this was my first time staying in a hostel. I liked the queen beds, the ladder was a little painful for MY feet, the girls in the same room were nice, the staff was fine. I would recommend to friends for a cute lil weekend getaway, I stayed for 3 nights.
