My family and I had a wonderful time! The location of the property is perfect it is in a gated community, which added an extra layer of comfort. The condo is very clean equipped with gear for the beach. The kitchen has cooking supplies an air fryer, coffee maker, dishes. Just an FYI Walmart in Canóvanas delivers right to your door. You must have the Walmart app. Otherwise there is a super market - pharmacy down the street. My family and I felt right at home at this property. We’ll definitely be back. Elva is truly a wonderful host, When our flight was changed at the last minute due to the weather, she was kind enough to let us extend our stay a few more days. She is incredibly easy to work with, always so helpful. Thanks again, Elva, for everything!

Elva was a good responsive host doing her best. The furnishings were comfortable and attractive, and the bed in the main bedroom was comfortable; everything was clean. The apartment was not fully equipped for a month-long stay, and Elva reimbursed us for some of the items we needed. The biggest challenge was the apartment’s location at the very front of the Villas Del Mar complex, very close to a noisy road and without much to look at from either balcony. The apartment was relatively quiet when the doors and windows were shut but the general noise level from the street was challenging for us, especially on weekends when the nearby bar and events held in the open air basketball court were both really loud. There was also a strong smell (I am guessing ant poison?) emanating from the lower cupboards that never improved during our stay. I think the place would be okay for shorter stays if that odor were dealt with, but the noise issue is harder to address.
We stayed here for 7 nights with our two teenage children. Check in was explained to us well in advance with pictures as well. The apartment has everything you need, plenty of room for a family of four. Also there were beach towels, chairs and two coolers. We didn’t use the amenities on site as we mainly explored the island everyday. The beach is very small and looks deserted and the pools were mostly empty. But we liked this property for how comfortable it was after a long day on the island.There is a great market on the corner, literally has everything you will need. No need to drive the 15 min to Walmart. While we were on the island, there was a massive blackout and our host contacted us immediately. There is a house battery that can keep the apartment running (excluding fridge, stove and AC) for about 8 hours and then solar panels to recharge the battery. Owner was in constant contact as we worked through the process. Luckily for us power was back on in less than 24 hours.Overall, this is an excellent home base to explore the island. Stay here, rent a car and drive around to some of the most beautiful beaches and other sites you can find! Highly recommend.
