Upon arrival after 4 pm to this hotel we waited over an hour to be placed in a room . The room we received was outdated and dilapidated. After noticing other rooms were more updated which is what showed when I booked and paid the additional money for I went back to the front desk to complain and I was moved to an updated room for a fee. After asking why they are putting guest in rooms that are renovated Asiel informed me because no one usually complains. And since I booked through a third party that is another reason why I didn’t see the deluxe option room .She gave me an email address to send to explain to the manager my concerns which I did but never heard back. I will never stay at this hotel again!

Rooms were gross and very outdated. You can hear doors slamming all night long. Beds were uncomfortable. We left some items in the hotel and called the same day and have gotten no where as to where our items are. Its a constant run around. We know 100% the items were left in room.

This the good, the bad and the ugly. Spoiler alert, there's no ugly. Let's start with the good. Amenities, room and staff (front desk) no complaints. The place is beautiful and well maintained, with the exception of the pool bar that was being remodeled and it was closed but there was service available on the side. Why 3 stars? Because the room was not setup to hotels standards. Something basic like like hand towels and wash clothes were not avaliable. We have to request them, also when the room was serviced, the bath mat was taken and not replaced. Towels were not replaced this is Something basic that creates inconveniences. We had a good stay and I would give it a 4 stars if it wasn't a basic hotel standard problem.

Yes indeed , there was a big problem. Three days without power for 6-7 hours. We were not warned until the third day. We stayed on 6th floor, had to do stairs in the dark_ literally!. My husband has psoriactic arthritis and nearly fell twice.

No previous notice that the pool restaurant/bar was under construction. On top of that, no notice at registration that there were scheduled power outrage for Tuesday and Wednesday. The facilities had no backup power for building, elevators, pool or jacuzzi. Not even the ATH machine was working in the afternoon to pay for drinks. No backup lights in the stairs either. The pool was filthy by Tuesday afternoon. Power came back Tuesday at 430pm when they keep saying it was going to be back at 2pm. A hotel without backup power is definitely not a way to go. At this we were told that the next day, Wednesday there was another scheduled maintenance power outrage up to noon and decided to check out. My nephew with multiple disabilities had to go down 4 flights of stairs without light just with the help of a cell phone of another tourist.

We didn’t have power 3 out of the 5 days we were there and had to carry our things up and down the stairs because no elevator, which is a big safety issue for us. We were not able to use the bathroom to brush our teeth or shower before traveling because no water. We had groceries in the fridge that were not staying cold enough in the fridge because of the power. The handle to the balcony door broke because it was dry rotted. My biggest issue is that our door did not latch well and after room service cleaned our room, we came back and our kindle was missing. When I emailed the hotel they replied with being “pleased to inform you we are renovating” and completely neglected my concerns.

We were a little skeptical with some of the reviews that we had read. Rooms were clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Staff was wonderful from Carlos and staff at the front desk to housekeeping. Everyone who worked they was very helpful, informative and welcoming. Area safe not so much traffic resort wasn’t far from restaurants, casino, stores or bars. It’s about a half an hour from San Juan. Will definitely be returning back, especially if we’re I the or around the area highly recommended.
