Such a beautiful hotel in a great location. Wonderful paintings and sculptures are everywhere you look. Room was clean, modern and luxuriously appointed. Very cool pool area. Restaurant has excellent food, and the breakfast buffet was bountiful with something for everyone. Staff was very professional, helpful and gracious. Lots of shopping and great restaurants in the immediate area. Great place to stay in the San Jose area.

I have been a guest at this hotel for over eight years and probably have stayed over 50 times lately each time I go we’re getting more stingy and changing things for the worst. Had breakfast everything was empty. As if I need to eat somebody’s leftovers. Also thier coffee is terrible. Costa Rica is the best coffee in the world. But theirs taste burnt and crappy. Ok they want you to pay for capsules of coffee for the machine in the room but that too they bring imported coffee in the form of Nescafé. However, what is it you want in a hotel. Good bed a good shower and I don’t know about you but definitely good coffee. Anyways, I would think twice before booking there again.
