This place should be renamed The Horrible Hotel. I hated it, it was all bad. No good. There are druggies and sketchy people all over the place, especially at night, so it's an unsafe location. The room has windows that don't close flush all the way so you hear everything from druggies screaming right outside your window to loud sirens passing by. The walls are paper thin. The room was freezing. And there was a pubic hair in the shower. The bed was stiff. It was a restless, uncomfortable, scary night for me, and the only reason I stayed one night was because it was late when I arrived from my flight and too late to find another place last minute. I left the following day to a different hotel, but this place still charged me the 3 miserable days. I wouldn't stay there if it were free. Read as many reviews as you can, look for the ones similar to mine and don't believe this is a good place, and choose a different hotel. You've been warned!

My wife was planning to stay here 3 nights but She left after the first, she does not recommend this hotel to any one. The walls in the room are paper thin, you can hear everything in the room. A lot of homeless crazy people outside screaming all night. Not very clean bathroom. I just don’t know how this motel has good reviews. She would not stay at this place again.

Great bargain. Clean San big rooms. Not the greatest part of town but better hotel than I expected.

We liked a lot the kindness of all the staff, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the cofee.. so delicious. What we didn’t like was the area sourronding full of drug adicts and homeless people that made us felt so insecure..

The room was dirty and the property was run down. It was also in a bad area and very little accommodations. Very disappointing.

A close up look at the sketchier aspects of San Francisco. No air conditioning in the room. Window that did open looks out onto another hotel window that was arms-lengths away. And hotel window needed to be open to release stuffy atmosphere. No restaurant or food service. No appreciable television or other entertainment. Smells were organic in nature (human organic, that is). Glacial elevator, but well lit, multi-story stairwell. Small rooms, small but very firm bed. Poor lighting kept other features hidden.

We could both feel the springs within the mattresses and the noise level from the street made it hard to sleep at times. The staff were very helpful and kind, it's just the facility itself is lackluster.

The A/C dropped inside all of the time. Drip. Drip. Drip. They sent someone to supposedly fix it but to no avail. The place is surrounded by homeless people doing drugs and defecating in the streets. Parking is darn near impossible and costs and additional $45 per day. Scary area. Old place with very little upkeep. And then there was the drip, drip, drip...

This was convinient for two nights! had are own shower !

Convenient location near public transportation, though local health and care facilities mean there may be the need for increased vigilance walking around. Clean, comfortable room even if somewhat basic (but fine for price). We were not there long enough to take advantage of all possible amenities, so can't comment. I felt staff made every attempt to help us, including providing a quiet room location (though unfortunately, there was still noise from the street or parking lot from vehicles).

It was central to all the places we were going to visit. The room rates were good. The only thing that really upset me is they charged me 17 dollars for urban fees on the money they held for deposit. When they had already charged me 15.00 a night for urban fees. WTH!!!

If you are going to the city hall and need a quick place to stay this hotel will get the job done. If you are going to to SF for an extended vacation find a better hotel.

Simple accommodation at a good price. Helpful staff.
