I chose this location because it was close to downtown, and everything I wanted access to. I arrived at 1130, and knowing that people can check out as late as 1100, I figured the room wouldn't be ready, but thought I'd ask. It was. So I was checked in quickly, and parked around back. The parking is good here. Covered, wide spaces, with a tall ceiling. California is notorious for tiny parking spaces and ceilings barely above the top of vehicles. As I travel with a roof box and cb antenna on the roof, it was quite nice to have a comfortable amount of space for parking. My room was clean, neat, and most importantly, quiet. I have a habit of picking up mattresses and checking under things, looking at sheets and other areas to see if they're dirty. It looked fine to me. I was there for three nights, and slept great every time. I chose this particular room for the jacuzzi tub. It did not work properly. When I turned it on, it just made a godawful roar and had 4 pitiful jets spouting water. That's the only reason I won't go 5 stars. Another issue with California hotels is that you're lucky if you can get a hot shower. Here, I ended up with a tub full of hot water. You're a short walk away from a lot. The Caltrain, Safeway, multiple restaurants, bars, movies...it's why I chose this location. I parked when I arrived, and never got in my car until I left. I enjoyed my stay here, and had no issues at all.

We were pleasantly surprised by this motel. Courteous staff, a good breakfast offering included, near other restaurants. A large room with a comfortable king size bed. Good TV channel offerings. Pool. Driveway on El Camino Real, but buildings situated off of the main street which kept it more quiet. I would request an even numbered room on the 3rd floor. Elevator is provided.

This was not acceptable I checked in and walked in the room and it stunk like a smoking room So I went downstairs and asked for a new room. They said they don't have smoking rooms So what has that nasty smell ? Mold ? Dirty guest ? Gross So I got a new room , and that room also had a offensive smell and the room was not clean . So I asked for s refund and left . I recall last time I was here they had changed owners and I was not impressed So never again I went next door to the holiday inn express and had a great experience

We stayed one night at this Comfort Inn. It was pretty much like what you would expect from a Comfort Inn but very clean, with lovely personnel! Also a bonus was a small pool which was nice to sit out at, away from the hub hub of the city. We were able to walk to restaurants, and movies.

Simple, quiet inn. Not very modern although exactly as advertised. The staff were very good. A reviewer below noted train and plane noise: nope. They must have stayed somewhere else. A few delis are around, plus a McDs and Wendy's for those so inclined. Oh, very clean.

My reservations were messed up but I will say the people at the Hotel were soooo nice and tried to rectify and gave me a discount. I think it was the on line reservations that made the mistakes. Supposed to have King bed, didn't. Then housekeeping removed all my belongings because they didn't know I was there for two night.

First time staying at this property, in fact first time in Redwood City. The staff at reception were excellent. Checkin & Checkout effortlessly performed and very efficient. A nice breakfast is served in a dedicated room next to reception. Very good laundry service at a very reasonable price. Housekeeping was excellent. Nothing missed, everything used was replaced. Plenty of towels and amenities. Most importantly excellent pillows and a very comfortable mattress. Extremely happy with my 5 nights stay!

A very convenient and pleasant hotel. Beds were really comfortable and the pillows were soft and good enough to sleep. I absolutely enjoyed the clean room I slept in, and the service was incredibly helpful! I've noticed that a few reviews are complaining about the street noise. For me, that was not an issue, and when I did make the check-in, I was worried about the noise. Obviously, El Camino Real is a really busy street in the entire state, but here my fears were unsubstantiated.

Unfortunate location next to an active train station, yes it was near the airport so there was airplane noise which was to be expected, but the pedestrian noise that accompanied the above was the worst. The hallways are outside and the sound of the suitcases being wheeled past the doors at all hours, all night was irritating. Sorry for the negative report, but for $300 night the place is a pit...a noisy pit.

My friend and I stayed for a night at Comfort Inn and had such a wonderful experience. The staff went over and beyond to be accommodating and the General Manager took time to help us with directions to where we wanted to go San Francisco Bay area!! The breakfast was excellent and had a great variety. The cleanliness of room was the best we have seen anywhere. We really just can't say enough great things about Comfort Inn!! We will be back again!!!
