I t is a nice hotel ,nice and clean rooms , close to a Chinatown , BART and other public transportation.

Orbitz online pre arranged. Convenient parking beneath the building. Only negative was: provided wifi was above my ability to connect to and tv was small with minimal channel selection.

It was a pleasant stay for the weekend. Will staye there in the future

Stay at the hotel every year for the last 3 years for annual mtgs.

bad services and bad location. you has to paid for parking and the stafs neve were attention our requirements

Great location for us, near our son's apartment. Comfortable room, friendly staff, good amenities. Parking a bit expensive, but expensive everywhere in this area.

not the first time at this hotel. as always the staff is great. the location is close to all transit, the nieghborhood is improving though some will find fault. I will stay again

Room was perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable. Uniquely decorated.

The room looks great and is very comfortable. Highly recommended.

We only stayed one night in the city, so for that, the price was good. We didn't realize this hotel partners with the best western across the street so we could have used their pool, if only we had brought our suits. Cute little hotel with themed rooms made it unique and memorable. I would recommend this hotel.

This was a week-long business trip. The room size was good and it was clean, but the neighborhood was something to be desired. Staff was all very nice and accommodating.

Beautiful architecture and environment, great staff, we definitely plan to stay here again in the future.

Those two unfortunate words made what otherwise would have been a good review turn into a poor one. In fact that staff would have been rated very high but I am 99% sure they new about the bed bugs but did not say anything to me. I had a room here for a full 7 days and on the 4th day they unexpectedly asked me to switch to another room. The concierge acted as if he didn't know why and just said it was a "...maintenance issue...". I hadn't had any problems with the room so I did not have anything to suspect. Now a week later my family has small bites all over over the extremities. We are going to have to have an exterminator come out just to be sure that we didn't bring anything home with us.

It's OK. They've definitely fixed it up, as inexpensively as possible for them, to try and make it seem nicer. But, on the whole, its only OK. Nothing ghastly or terrible, just OK. Really.

Great location, great room, onsite parking, decent breakfast box. Would stay again.

Lovely small boutique hotel. Very clean, pretty and charming rooms with themes, but not too kitschy. There are ways you do not want to turn when leaving the hotel, and walking home at night is certainly an experience, with the Mission and many homeless and street characters near by. Staff was polite and helpful, particularly Mina who was very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly.

I know this part of the city is in the process of "cleaning up the neighborhood". I would not stay here again. Small room, noisey, extra charge for parking...spa wasn't working. And not much to choose from in the area for dining.

The staff at this hotel were extremely unhelpful. I was sharing a room with a friend who was to be arriving hours before me. Even though I called and put his name on the reservation, when he arrived they would not let him into the room until I checked-in. After speaking on the phone with the manager for 30 minutes, and even after being willing to give my credit card number so they could hold it, they still would not allow him into the room. It was by far some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a hotel.

The good: Room was very spacious, clean, QUIET, coffee maker and robe, comfortable bed. Staff were helpful with local directions and I enjoyed the pre-boxed continental breakfast which was quick to pick up (as opposed to balancing plates of items to take back to the room. Location was an easy walk to Civic Center/Union Square and Bay Area Rapid Transit station nearby made it an easy ride from the airport for just $8.25 and walking a couple of flat blocks. The bad: Very sketchy area which during the daytime hours involved dodging meth addict homeless people ... and at night was simply not somewhere I was comfortable walking. A male friend who is a local felt the same way. Sadly, my wallet was pick pocketed on the city bus and then it was upsetting I could not gain access to my room with my passport because I didn't have a credit card for incidentals. Alternate credit card number called in by my husband not adequate for the purpose either, so I was stuck in lobby while forms were emailed back and forth. I felt I should have been let into my room while this was happening. Maybe other places would do the same thing, but it was adding insult to injury after a long day of travel and police report, bank fraud alerts, etc. Once in my room, it was a lovely place to stay, but I probably wouldn't stay in the SOMA area again.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was a bit noisy in a street facing room, but earplugs were provided. Breakfast was good.
