Here is the best way I can sum up my stay at this hotel. Cons: -No parking. We had to park in a sketchy, abandoned car wash lot 2 blocks away ($30 per night) -No A/C ...only a ceiling fan. -Free breakfast sucks. They call it a "to-go" breakfast, which is basically coffee, and 2 - 3 types of pastries. -Bring your own toiletries. Their bathroom soap smells like dog shampoo. Consider bringing our own towel as well. Our bathroom towels were dirty. -Be prepared to rush in/out of the elevator. It does not stop when it begins to close. --The hotel is right next to 3 bars, so if you don't like noise, think twice about staying here. It gets pretty loud at night. Pros: -Price..This was one of the cheaper hotels.

Their was a bloody maxi pad behind the toilet, not hot water in the morning made us pay an extra $34 to park there, next to a bar and loud music and laughing and screaming till 3am. Horrible experience

On top of very loud construction beginning at 7am, the room, and hotel was not clean. It serves it's purpose.

This isn't a typical Americas best value. It is a nice place in a great location.

The location is ok (single female) but I didn't walk around late at night as I wouldn't have felt very safe on my own. The staff were nice but not very helpful, as I arrived before check in time I left my bags with them and came back to check in later.I had a brace on my arm and clearly needed help with my bags but no one would help me so I had to make 2 trips to my room. The fridge was not cleaned out which left a smell, this was sorted once brought to attention of management. I stayed for 3 nights and although it was a non-smoking hotel I could smell smoke on the first night especially when the bathroom light/ac was on. Overall I got what I paid for but I did expect more from a king size room

This hotel was very DIRTY! I was not pleased at all with this hotel. The location was okay, but everything else about the hotel was terrible. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I'm not sure if it was just our room (2 full beds) but it was terrible.

The staff were very friendly. The rooms are outdated with wear and tear of the furniture. Everything (i.e. including the chairs) are clothes or carpeted, which was concerning for dust mites and potential bed bugs. It's in a comfortable area but 2-3 blocks in either direction leads to areas saturated with homeless people and poverty. If your on a budget and looking for a place to crash, then this is the place. Otherwise, I would look else where.

The hotel totally met my expectations. My friend and I had a double room and it was clean and comfortable, quiet at night so you can get a good rest. The room is small but it is enough for a room in which you just sleep and shower. The shower is a little tricky so pay attention to the little sign with the instructions The location is good! Within walking distance to the ball park, market Street, Union Square

The room was Okay. The toilet clogged up on us but we got through it. The room was a little smelly and seemed a little dirty. Thank goodness I brought a blanket and so we slept on that. The parking situation was an inconvenience but we made it work paying extra. I wish I would've known the parking situation before booking. Overall, I think we got our money's worth.

Stayed for one night, it was very clean, the staff was very nice and helpful. Great location for it's price. Overall a great experience.

The location was great it is right on folsom great for any gay traveler

I got to the hotel at 6am and the guy on the front desk was so amazingly helpful and warm. Kept checking on me and my friend throughout our stay. I felt safe there. Definitely recommending this place to others for the great customer service. Thank you sir!

The hotel was located in a shady area. The hotel was not of great value. The rooms were not that clean and the place looked very old. I would not book here again.

The experience was okay the hotel room was nice had refrigerator TV and microwave area was perfect for me

It was very clean, there was actually a refrigerator in the room, and the beds were very comfortable.

The staff at this hotel were the most friendly I've experienced. They were able accommodate an early check in at no extra charge which is hard to find. Considering I flew from NY to CA it was very important to me to be able to get into my room to freshen up after a long flight. The hotel is within walking distance of transit and shopping. A very pleasant stay!

Hotel accomodations were decent and acceptable for the price, where everything is expensive in this city. Wifi is free, there is a simple breakfast (but there is one), BART was abt about 10-15 min (long streets with alleys). Surroundings do not give us the impression to be safe when the night falls. If you are not used to downtown living in big cities, and you come from suburbs, it can be a shocking experience.

It was a good experience for the most part, parking is at a different location (valet). A little noisy at night due to the area.

We stayed here last year and again this last weekend. It is great for the price of the rooms and everyone is very friendly. It can be a little hard to find at first, but after the first time it's easy! I will definitely stay here again.

The America's Best Value Inn SoMa on Folsom is a nice play to stay at a very reasonable price. The nicest rooms are the corner rooms with a lovely bay windowed seating area and renovated spa bathrooms. These are rooms #210, 310 or 410. They can be noisy because of street sounds and the bar downstairs, but if you are used to city noises, this is not a big problem. The staff is very pleasant and eager to be helpful!
