I've stayed in many Westins but this one was not great. - The room: Was a little dirty (smudges and stains in the bathroom, an old towel left behind on the floor, sheets didn't smell totally fresh) - The evening bar: There is no restaurant open at night and the bar menu is limited. - The front desk team: There weren't enough staff to handle the number of check ins and the team wasn't particularly welcoming. When we checked out there was no one to be found and no drop box so we gave our room keys to the valet. - The breakfast buffet: Not great so we ordered off the menu.
Great staff, location, shuttle, and service. My only complaint is the parking fees are too high-$48 per day or $28 every time you take your car out of garage.
We came in on Monday & left on Wednesday for the sentencing. It didn't happen.
I stayed here for a min getaway trip with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved the hotel and staff. The hotel location is fabulous. Would definitely stay here again.
The hotel room we had was a king room with decent views. It was roomy in some areas and lacking in others. The amenities we decent. Coffee maker and fridge in room were a nice touch as was the big screen tv. The lobby offered a nice bar and access to the cafe and breakfast buffet.
Although I only stayed here to have a bed to crash in after a night out in Gaslamp I definitely got more than what I was expecting! $45 parking is pretty bad though but aside from that my room was extremely quiet although it was the first room you see from the elevator and I didn't see a single thing wrong with the hotel! Clean, quiet and fancy and very spacious! Definitely worth the money.
Clean and confortable hotel with great location Very expensive Parking
This is a great hotel--clean, friendly staff, and conveniently located to downtown San Diego. Upon my arrival, staff informed that they had a complimentary Happy Hour in the lobby--exactly what I needed after a long fly..! The Westin's atmosphere is calm and inviting. I would stay at this hotel in my next visit to San Diego...
The Front Desk help was fantastic.....the food was very good....the entire staff...outstainding.....the room very nice but the air conditioning was very, very loud all nite....the parking cost $44 a nite.....CRAZY, we paid less in New York City...Great hotel...Great Staff....Don't park.....
The hotel was clean, the staff was very polite and helpful. They have a shuttle to and from the airport which was on time and very convenient. The hotel itself is in a great location for the trolley, city buses, and Amtrak.
The staff at this hotel were very personable and friendly. They went out of their way to make the stay an enjoyable one.
Close to gaslamp and awesome night life. Nice hotel was easy to get around using uber/lyft
My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay. We wish it could have been more than one night, but it's a bit out of our budget. We wanted to experience a great hotel for a change. It was Great!
Hotel was OK, and was in a perfect spot. Problem here is despite charging an arm and a leg for a room, there is no parking. Parked in the garage directly beneath hotel, asked for validation, but they said they do not validate. Spent over $100 just in parking. Not happy about that.
This hotel is so well run. Beautiful rooms, dining, pool, gym etc all beyond my expectations!
I wish staff service mentions if a mail has arrived to you. they didn't mention it and I almost forgot it!! first hotel that don't mention if you have a mail!! Excellent location Clean hotel, very comfortable beds. valet parking is expensive, try to park in another parking garages
hotel was ok. room they gave us was really small. location was a bit far from main area of gaslamp.
Hotel location is amazing. It's walking distance from the Flagship ferry gate to Coronado Island and USS Midway. They offer free pick up at San Diego airport. This location only has one option for parking which is $44 valet. But just across the street is a $24 overnight parking (no in and outs). We used Uber to get around because we were so hungry and want to eat some Lobster Rolls in Iron House at Little Italy. And also to get to the port for our lavish Hornblower dinner cruise. The hotel elevator is ....well I'll leave it up to you what you think about it. But we enjoyed the ride up in one of the glass walled elevator. We actually waited for one on our way down but it was so much more interesting riding a glass walled elevator up. Check in and checkout was a breeze. The room was amazing and the rainfall shower head is great to end the night. The bed was more than comfortable. There's a hidden fridge under the TV unit. It was a great experience and at such a great deal.
No complaints! Excellent hotel! Close to Gaslamp quarter! Great happy hour!
After a long day we finally locate the hotel to findthe parking was extremely high. Once in the room the bed felt comfy and cozy as I dozed off I remember flicking tissue onto the floor. I was almost asleep so I thought how weird that was as I didnt have any tissue, but I feel asleep. In the morning I moved around to find another crumpled tissue in my bed. Im thinking to myself where did this tissue come from and the thought of flicking the earlier piece came to mind I found another crumpled/used tissue toward the middle of the bed, DISGUSTING
