Staff were very helpful, room was tired but about what you’d expect for the price. Main issue is the location, it’s sandwiched between the freeway and the off-ramp, and with zero soundproofing traffic noise was constant and surprisingly clear.

This place is just bad. Liked bad bad bad like i stayed there for like two hours just cause i was on the phone. It’s cold, dirty and you can hear everything outside like literally everything. If you really want to rest stay away from this place.

Rooms are quite old and are reflected in details that show they’ve worn off and cover the basics, it’s clean and a good option if you want to be close to downtown for a cheaper option just keep in mind you get what you pay for or maybe a bit less. The bathroom amenities are a nice addition and clean as well and have a tub and hair dryer, also air conditioned. The bed is a bit squeaky and keep in mind it can get very noisy at night due to upstairs neighbors or the street. There are some homeless people outside but they’re harmless, we walked at 4 am after a concert on the street and it was perfectly fine.

The one star is for the “front desk lady” she was lovely, great personality, and helpful. The lodge is nothing like the advertising. This location is very loud, quite dingy and dirty. The room was a “nonsmoking room” that reeked of marijuana and smoke. Including the squeaking and terrible bedding. !! Overall I don’t recommend this Lodge.

I read previous reviews about the location & noise. Very correct! Neighborhood dirty with trash thrown about, heavy traffic with exhaust fumes and many homeless smoking their herbs or whatever. Noise level was off the charts. Many suspicious looking people would stare at me when I'd look out the window (which had no screens). Hotel sits on a street with traffic (and contributing noise) going on all around. How many sirens can there be? Did not feel safe to walk out after dark.
