My husband and I stayed at the Western Inn Old Town for one night over Thanksgiving while visiting family, and it was absolutely perfect. The hotel was very nice, exceptionally clean, and our room was surprisingly spacious with comfortable beds that made for a great night’s sleep. The location is unbeatable—right in Old Town, San Diego, making it easy to walk around and enjoy the area. So many great places to check out. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, and the manager, Sanjay, was especially friendly and hospitable. He truly made us feel at home. We will definitely be back again. It was the perfect stay and truly enjoyable from start to finish!

Hotel was conveniently close to the airport and MCRD. Rooms were clean, but overall the room was damp and had a strong musty smell to it. It was also very loud with a lot of doors slamming and yelling down the halls. It worked well for us and what we needed, but definitely could’ve been a bit better.

Coming out of the parking garage is very steep and hit the bottom of the car hard. Breakfast didn't offer much. It was very noisy at night, we could hear doors slamming very loudly late into the night.

While the extremely small lobby had us concerned when we were first checking in, we ended up having a wonderful time here. Spotless room, air conditioning that works great, comfy bed and everything you could ask for that close to the heart of Old Town.
