We stayed with adult children for 3 nights. We were excited after a few nights of traveling and staying in hotels to be able to settle in and cook our meals. The good and not so good:Good:The host was great at communicating and the check in process was smooth and very easy. The host was great at fixing a broken faucet and bringing more towels.It is a very cool space! The roof top space is awesome. The location is great-a few minutes walk to the beach. Not so good:It needs a good DEEP cleaning and some basic maintenance. We wanted to settle in and be comfortable but it was just dirty enough that we didn’t. The floors were sticky, the doors and door jams by the door knob’s are dirty! The couches had coverings on them to hide the nasty cushions. They are dirty enough none of us wanted to use them as a pull out bed. You also couldn’t sit on them-you feel every spring and support-they desperately need to be replaced. There is a washer and dryer but they don’t really work. The dryer has tape residue from people trying to keep the door shut. Both are very dirty and need to be cleaned, fixed/ replaced. The sliding door in the kitchen doesn’t stay shut and you can’t lock it. The dish washer doesn’t work-we had to wash all our dishes. This place has a lot of potential with a little maintenance and cleaning.
