The Handlery Hotel stay was great. Rooms were clean and the pool area was open even with the Rain on new year’s 2026. We got food and drinks from their pool area bar at a good price, the food was great. It’s a little outdated and it could use some upgrades or amenities added, but it had the San Diego look. One thing I would say is take out the Daily parking fee that is not added until you check in. Will I go again, yes. Close to old town, La Jolla, little Italy, and Downtown/Balboa Park which we visited and came back if we got wet. Also check out Bronx Pizza nearby. You won’t regret it.

Great location and very quiet even though its by the freeway. The place is very well kept and staff is very polite and helpful. Rooms were a great size and the balconies are large and have lounge seating. Would definitely come back

Paula and Jesus were great! They made our stay personable. The property needs some upgrades but it was clean and we enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the propane fire pits. The beds were small but comfortable.

Great value for the money and an awesome location. The pool area is fun and a great Tiki Bar. The rooms are a bit dated but charm and value makes up for it. I always enjoy my stay here!! Golf course and fashion valley mall just around the corner

Staff was not very friendly. The noise level was to loud, you can hear the people next to us. It was hard to fall asleep with the noise of the cars passing due to the hotel being so close to the freeway. Will not be booking a room here again.
