After accepting my reservation and charging my card online, and Diptera the fact that I had stayed in the motel on several previous occasions, including the night before, I was told I could not use my credit card to check in because the numbers were not printed on the card. The staff was rude and condescending. I asked for a manager and was refused and told to call a number on a receipt. The person at that number was also rude and hung up on me and refused to answer my repeated attempts to call back. I will no longer be using, recommending or speaking positively about Orbitz or EZ8 motels going forward.

No breakfast given

Unfortunately I can’t believe orbitz would even list this place at their site for unfamiliar travelers. Yes there are people staying there in the fringe. It’s dirty, but the icing on the cake when I heard a rat in the ceiling scratching and eating it’s way into my room. There is a wonderful breakfast place called Perry’s Cafe and the pool is salt water so it’s not as rough on your skin and hair. If you could upgrade do it.

The queen bed seemed smaller than a queen, the mattress was soft, only one tiny pillow per person, the property looks like it is being renovated.

NO SOAP NO SHAMPOO TOILET PAPER SUPER SUPER THIN STAFF VERY RUDE NOTHING LIKE THE DESCRIPTION ON ORBITZ NEVER AGAIN NOT VERY CLEAN INSIDE OR OUT CRAMMED PARKING CRUMMY NABORHOOD VERY EXPENSIVE 150 A NIGHT

Didn’t get to stay there

This place was sort of a dump, yet I had no problems and it was VERY low cost being so close to town. The TV sucks and is 20 years old. The staff was fun and very nice though, so they have that going for them. I got a decent bed and a decent shower for a low price.

Central location was good, however, only 25 feet from noisy train tracks and freeway passes over motel. Do not take room 134, closest room to trains and dog toilet area is only 2 steps from front door... Be very careful where you step especially at night and keep your door and window closed.

This is a hole for sure. Filthy floors, sheets and exterior. No soap/shampoo for my 2 day stay. Full of crackheads(staff included!)

Location is perfect! If your looking for a place to stay thats close to the beach, then this is the place.
