The hotel is an amazing boutique hotel in a very nice town. As you get off the street and into the hotel, it is an oasis of peace and calm from the otherwise narrow and busy streets! The staff are extremely friendly, very helpful, and it was a shame that we stayed only for a night here. We had an early morning start the next day, and they offered to have a staff member keep some coffee and tea ready well before their normal time, which was a nice gesture. The restaurant was very good and vegetarian friendly. The rooms were very comfortable. And the location was quite convenient to walk to the centre of the town. We used them to organise our transportation and, while we don't speak much Spanish, we went with their Spanish-speaking driver - he was extremely helpful, tried his best to give us ongoing narrative of the place with the limited English he knew and the limited Spanish we did! Excellent experience using Hotel Bo overall - definitely recommend the place.
cant even begin to tell you about this place! as you walk in you experience another atmosphere, the people, the ambiance, the smells, the colors, starting from that amazing blue door! GORGEous! we stayed feb 7 -10 most amazing bed and pillow, i was ruined for the rest of my trip wanting the same accommodations :) . i unfortunately lost an earring , called the next day after we left and to my surprise , they found it! and sent it to me, just got it, priceless! very happy indeed. thank you Alfonso!
My husband and I stayed here in January 2018 for several nights. Originally booked in the basic room, this was beautiful and cleverly designed but decided to treat ourselves to an upgrade and ended up in room 22 which is a wonderful, spacious and fabulously designed, like the rest of this boutique hotel. We found the food, position and ambiance really excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel. Also the town is such a gem worth exploring off the main routes as some wonderful places to explore.
We stayed here for 2 nights in January. From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming and friendly. The interior is trendy and inviting. Our rooms were beautiful. The location is right near the main avenue with shops, food, laundromat etc and seems to be busy at any time of the day or night. Inside Hotel Bo is like a little oasis of zen away from the hustle and bustle. I would definitely recommend staying here and also eating at the restaurant Lum. We had breakfast and dinner here and both were exceptional- food, ambience and service.
Beautiful Hotel Bo hidden away behind a Blue Door at 5 de Mayo 38. A gorgeous little retreat form the hustle and bustle of the main square of San Cristobal de las Casas but within walking distance. The rooms are contemporary and pleasant with a gorgeous garden within that is beautifully maintained. The high light for me was the absolutely fantastic food prepared by an incredible young Chef Daniella. Her food uses local organic ingredients and is probably some of the best I tasted in Mexico. Her flavours are distinctly Mexican but with a personal, modern twist with elegant simplicity her dishes are simply delicious! The staff are delightful and I was looked after particularly well by a young receptionist who did everything to ensure my stay was perfect. I shall definitely be back. Thank you Hotel Bo.
Customer service like I’ve never experienced before. The entire staff went out of their way to make use feel comfortable; from helping us book transportation to surprising my two little girls with hot chocolate before bed. Location is within walking distance to everything in town. Rooms are immaculate and very hip. We also loved hanging on the sofas in the lobby after a long day. Couldn’t have been happier.
Wonderful place to stay in San Cristobal. This boutique hotel is a gem! The setting and the facilities are great. The room was very nice and with local decor. Very comfortable. The staff was amazing throughout our stay. The breakfasts were awesome too!
Great hotel located behind an unconspicuous, small entrance. Nicely decorated, great bar options and a nice restaurant full of original choices fusing chiappan and international cuisine. Probably one of the best places to stay at, if you are NOT on a budget. This hotel is rather pricey.
The hotel is beautiful. The decoration is inspiring. The service was EXCELLENT! We had 3 nights in San Cristobal, we were celebrating my wife birthday, and they made everything possible to make her feel special. We had breakfast everyday in Hotel Bo, very authentic and delicious food. The last night we had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was amazing. I would definitively go back.
We absolutely loved this place. I was blown away by eating in such an establishment in Mexico. It was uber funky and stunning at the same time. The food and service was outstanding. We just loved it and I wished we'd stayed here!
