The Volare was a great place for us to stay. The staff was so nice and really welcoming. The property is clean and well maintained. The area is perfect. We walked all over San Clemente and the beach. It was perfect.

The room was good but the evening worker lacked customer service skills (which hurts when you expect a warm welcome). The jacuzzi was too hot, uncomfortable m. The paint was even peeling off. We told the front office but the temp didn’t change. We asked for towels and the person at the front desk told us that they will give us towels the next day. Our experience could had been better m-I had family stay there too, we were disappointed.

Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable, lots of restaurants and coffee houses near by. Beach is walkable downhill. About a 20 minute walk. Good hotel to stay a night or two. Wouldn't recommend walking back up the hill 😊 There is a free shuttle bus that comes around right by the beach. There’s also a train that goes to Oceanside and other beaches by San Clemente Pier. Parking is pretty tight, but free
