Friendly clerk checked me in quickly. Room was well-lit with large bathroom and shower areas. Water heated quickly. Bed was comfortable. Did not have breakfast the next day, so can't speak to that. I'd stay there again.
Get a room on the east side so that you have the shade on your cooler in the evening. We were on the west side and the cooler was having a hard time keeping the room cool in 100 degrees. We set it to 55 and it was somewhat cool. The beds were good. Toilet had problem running all the time. Could not get it to stop so we had to shut the bathroom door to drown out the noise. The next morning, the shower head center piece flew out and landed in the tub. It was the water saver plug. I could not get it back in so I just left it out. Shower worked better without it anyway.
Do not ever try this place. In spite of 2.8 star I tried and horribly experience about it. If you go here ignoring this review than its your own decisions to ruined your fun. (1). After travel for 10 hours, I went to use restroom, the toilet need repairs broken and rusty faucets with NO Toilet papers. Ask the guy about it he don't keep it at desk and He will put it later on. (2). After checked in at 2 am we went to room, after paying extra for one person find not enough blankets. At 2 am walked to desk ask for one blanket (as they didn't arranged the roll way bed ) desk guy said he do not have extra blankets. (3) After tired travelling we decided to relaxed till 9 am before we go out. Housekeeper knock on the door at 9 ask for room service. (4) I informed desk and Housekeeper to set one towel set extra since they charged for extra $20/night . They didn't put.(5)After come back from outing and checked the roll way it was broken inform the desk same ridiculous reply " we let house keeper know". My 70 year old dad end up sleeping on broken roll way. (6) The quality of towels is nasty and we end up buying our own towels. (7) Bathroom wall stained . Shower handle moldy. Shower curtain blood stained. Dresser drawer broken. (8) After visit spending entire day in sun in sea world come back to motel . Your room find heater on at 95 . (9)As you checked in you can see the cctv on your right doesn't work all camera system. So no security of your vehicle. (10) Breakfast : frozen biscuits , sausages heated in microwave using microwave dish and served the same way. Scrambled egg without any taste . Waffle iron with broken handle. (11) forget all of the above and decide to do laundry ..No detergent available and no coins available. (12) Housekeeper washing their dirty regs apron in guest washer. So you have to wait till they finished. (13) When you decide to talk about it to some authorities no one available. Front desk told us my manager will come at 12 but make sure you checked out at 11 and wait out side till manager come. We waited but manager didn't bothered to talk to us. We told them we talk to 800 number. He told us you may do what ever you want to do
Property is run by several mid eastern men, you can't identify any employees, nobody wears any Choice provided uniforms, young men come to your door and want to clean your room, these are day labor people hired for cash in order to save on payroll and payroll taxes. Filthy place, last minute, no other option within 35 miles, we had 3 rooms, only one toilet out of three was usable, no food available at 8:40am, Never ate there, complained to headquarters immediately after getting back to the Dallas area, received only 1 refund for one room so far.
It was horrible dirty sheets then they change them to stain sheets the room I clean it because it wasn't clean towels were dirty. The service was bad I would never stay there again we picked it because it was pet friendly but it wasn't worth it
Upon arrival I asked to be moved from my original room , since it smelled like mildew. The manager was kind enough to do so, and moved me to an accessible room. Late that night, we returned to the room to discover that the electric I the bathroom did not work. The outlet was damaged, so the hair dryer and coffee maker were useless. I brought this to the attention of the night manager, and he was slightly rude, but said it would be looked at. Although the outlet was repaired the next day, there were other things that made the stay uncomfortable. The vending machine was completely empty the entire week. The pop machine was pried open and also empty the entire week. The clothes rack in our room was broken and hanging off the wall. An electric box, which could have been an old sprinkler box, was open and exposed with wires hanging above one of our beds. The front desk could not provide needed replacements of tissues, toilet paper, or coffee cups without having housekeeping come to the property...maybe an hour and a half wait for those items. Breakfast selections were always the same...Frosted Flakes and sugar smacks for cereal, waffle, little folded eggs with sausage patties, which were in cold chafing dishes. Had I not booked through an agency and prepaid for the visit, I would have found different accommodations.
This property is part of the choice priviledges but it is anything but choice. Jeet was rude and when the manager Nick was called the next day, he could have cared less. I felt cheated and disrespected as a woman by his comments and tone of voice. I have stayed in over 40 choice and quality inn hotels this last year. This property should be banned from the system.
Let me preface this by saying this stay was a last minute, no options, booking. We had spent the day at SeaWorld and were planning on driving to Austin to stay with a friend, but since we were so tired leaving SeaWorld at 1030pm we decided to grab a hotel in SA. So with minimal options, and knowing we would only be there a few hours to rest our head, we chose the quality inn. Upon check in we discovered we had a smoking room, ok I could deal with that. We get to the room....dirty towels left from previous stay, dirty bathroom, dirty in general (you feel like you need to be wearing shoes at all times and are a little nervous to lie on the bed.) I gave it 2 stars because it did have free WiFi and also provided a decent free breakfast. I probably wouldn't stay here again, but I knew going in it wasn't going to be great, but it was $60, so I can't complain too much.
Stayed here while doing business in SAT. Location was isolated, needed GPS to get here. Room was very good, bed nice, internet ok, good TV selections. Service was good. Breakfast was worthless. No good place to eat nearby. The front desk recommended one, but it was bad. Overall, a bit above average.
worst place i have ever stayed at only allowing two towels per room even with 3 people staying then you have to bring your two dirty towels down the next day to receive two clean towels the front desk person argued and cussed at me and my wife yelling and throwing a fit wouldnt let us speak with a manager i highly recommend never staying at this crap hotel then i had to pay 10$ extra a night for a cot that i never received
