This property is part of the choice priviledges but it is anything but choice. Jeet was rude and when the manager Nick was called the next day, he could have cared less. I felt cheated and disrespected as a woman by his comments and tone of voice. I have stayed in over 40 choice and quality inn hotels this last year. This property should be banned from the system.
Let me preface this by saying this stay was a last minute, no options, booking. We had spent the day at SeaWorld and were planning on driving to Austin to stay with a friend, but since we were so tired leaving SeaWorld at 1030pm we decided to grab a hotel in SA. So with minimal options, and knowing we would only be there a few hours to rest our head, we chose the quality inn. Upon check in we discovered we had a smoking room, ok I could deal with that. We get to the room....dirty towels left from previous stay, dirty bathroom, dirty in general (you feel like you need to be wearing shoes at all times and are a little nervous to lie on the bed.) I gave it 2 stars because it did have free WiFi and also provided a decent free breakfast. I probably wouldn't stay here again, but I knew going in it wasn't going to be great, but it was $60, so I can't complain too much.
Stayed here while doing business in SAT. Location was isolated, needed GPS to get here. Room was very good, bed nice, internet ok, good TV selections. Service was good. Breakfast was worthless. No good place to eat nearby. The front desk recommended one, but it was bad. Overall, a bit above average.
worst place i have ever stayed at only allowing two towels per room even with 3 people staying then you have to bring your two dirty towels down the next day to receive two clean towels the front desk person argued and cussed at me and my wife yelling and throwing a fit wouldnt let us speak with a manager i highly recommend never staying at this crap hotel then i had to pay 10$ extra a night for a cot that i never received
Old lumpy bed. My husband and I woke with bug bites on our legs and body. Staff was very uninterested in refunding remaining three nights. Took two days to get them to do so. Would not stay here again. Breakfast was average. They said they are remodeling but we sure didn't see any evidence of that.
Good crew, desk clerk John very proficient, Ken and son dynamic duo in the cleaning department stayed there four days visiting great grandson in NICU March 2016 Nice area to walk pets. Breakfast on time and plenty of food with a good selection
We stayed for one night at the hotel. Booked a non smoking room to ensure that it wasn't going to smell. Mother in Law stayed, and she smoked outside on the walkway. When we checked out, everything was great, until the charges started appearing on the credit card. They charged $4.95 for a missing wash cloth and hand towel, and then $100 for smoking in the room. No one smoked in the room, and their "evidence" was they found some cigarette butts or something in the trash. Called to dispute it with the hotel manager "John", and the guy was a complete tool. No customer service from this guy, at all. His answer "dispute it then, we've already charged the card". Wouldn't allow for any type of discussion or resolution. Plus, the view from the room was either of a car sales lot, or a porn store. After discussion with some other military families that stayed there the same time, they encountered the same issue. The complementary breakfast was about the best thing.
The hotel is comfortable, hotel is close by shopping malls which is good for me.😛 Very helpful staff, always smiling and ready to help. Jhon at the reception was a darling. I recommend this hotel. Would surely come back. Arwa
We stayed here in mid August during our daughters graduation from BMT at Lackland. FOR THE PRICE this place is a great value. Located just a few minutes from the base and a few minutes from downtown it was perfect for us. If you are going to spend a lot of time in your room, this may not be the place for you. But basic accommodations a good bed and a decent pool......a great value for an "active visit" to San Antonio! NOTE Ice machine has a hard time keeping up with the heat in the summertime!
We waited 30 minutes to check in. Their computers were not working normally. I asked if they had a manual check-in system in place, and was told they didn't. They told us to park in front of our room, but parking is so scarce that we are lucky to get a spot at all, and there were no parking places in front of our room. The room is starting to look worn out but was clean. The breakfast was as good or better than a lot of hotels. I think we'd look for another place to stay next time we're in San Antonio. For what we paid, it was not up to par.
