Roads closed to get there fire alarms go off at night for no reason

Not the best holiday inn we’ve stayed at. Definitely not worth the $400 spent

For some strange reason I was given a handicap room, not a super big deal but they never said anything as i was checking in. GFCI outlet in bathroom was not working so hair dryer was not working. They said they would send a tech over, but that would need an electrician to fix. Service overall was poor. They have a nice bar, but the male bar tender (not the lady) was not really present and paying attention at all...he seemed to be doing personal things on his phone while customers were there. the location is really not that great, not near anything substantial and an uber ride or scooter ride to get to the riverwalk. I left something in the room, called and had to leave a message, to no one calling me back. Don't expect to get that item back. There are better options in San Antonio, might cost a little more, but you can get better service and a better experience.

I love this property, wil continue to stay there when in town.

carpet smells old, bath room condition is deteriorating, bed and sheets are uncomfortable, ac/heater filter needs to be replaced

Everything was wonderful. Steve our driver to the Riverwalk was great, hotel was quiet and clean. My only suggestion to the hotel would be that the bathroom needs a fan. The humidity in the bathroom was been hard on the ceiling and walls.

My parents stayed at this location as I was attending a conference at another hotel for work. During their stay, the hotel seemed 'OK.' The room seemed clean, but hotel overall had a musty almost moldy smell which I noticed right away. Over the next few days they mentioned having a gnat problem (which I'm not sure if part of the hotel or the location/timing of year of our visit). We ate at the one restaurant on site. My parents stated breakfast was ok and didn't have any problems. However, for some of the other meals they mentioned the lettuce in the salads seemed limp and warm. Not really cold/fresh tasting. I think overall they had an ok stay and the free parking was definitely a plus. Due to my mom's older age and allergies she didn't feel the best at the end of the trip and I would have requested to move her, but she did not want to bother with everyone and change the reservations.

It’s a quiet hotel with friendly staff. The shuttle drivers are friendly and tell you about the area.

The hotel was overall very nice. The rooms were clean for the most part and had a little bit of stains on the carpet and leftover food from the people before us. Other than that the room and service were great. The pool was cloudy and could have used some chemicals to clear it up and one day the pool light completely fell out leaving wires hanging in the pool which didn’t feel safe. Our last day housekeeping forgot to give us towels as well. We had a great experience otherwise, the hotel was great location wise where we were close to everything without having to pay a lot to be near the attractions of the city.

The staff was is very friendly. The hotel is quiet at night. We stayed five nights and had no problems.

I like the location to everything to see in San Antonio. I did not like the first room they stuck us with 391 that had extremely stained carpet air conditioning cover barely hanging on bubbles x 15 all over the ceiling random dark stains in upper corner where ceiling meets the wall TV remote volume did not work channel would only turn by going up telephone buttons 2 office or room service do not work. Next day we changed rooms 135 clean room but Non-Stop slamming of side door 24/7 all hours of the day and night overall very unique experience to say the least
