Stayed here for three nights. It was pleasant and what I would expect for the price range mostly. The vending machines are all credit card only except the one by the pool. That was very inconvenient. There is an HEB right down the road so I saved some money and bought a 2 liter to help with this, problem solved. Read all the reviews about people having moldy smelling rooms so I was prepared just in case. First walked in there was only a slight very slight stuffy-molding smell. Once the AC was on and the air was moved around that went away and I really didn't notice the smell again until a bit after a shower. The vent never turned on in the bathroom so honestly that is what I believed caused the smell issue. Also saw all the cockroach complaints as well. Never saw one. AC did fine for me though I did notice I had to kick it lower to really get the room to cool off, then bring it up and it was fine. Though the AC in the elevator sucked. The one by the pool in the back to the left of the front desk was muggy half the time. All very livable issues. Nothing bad enough I needed to complain to get fixed. When mentioned on check out, they offered to give me a discount but I wasn't letting them know for that reason. Just a heads up for the next guest. If it had been a big enough issue to discount my stay I wouldn't have waited three days. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety, though not sure I'd pay their asking price as I do small meals, not worthy of buffet style.

Good value, clean and close enough to downtown to cab

Overall, we were pretty disappointed by our stay at this hotel. The biggest frustration was that our room was kind of dirty (especially the bathroom) when we checked in and then housekeeping never came the next day. We were gone from 9am until around 2pm and when we arrived back, the room had not been cleaned. When we left for the evening around 4pm, I called the front desk to let them know our room hadn't been cleaned and asked that they clean it while we were gone. I was assured it would be done but then was frustrated to see a dirty room when we returned from dinner around 9:30pm. I called down, yet again, and said that despite being told it would be cleaned, our room had skipped. At the very least, we'd like some fresh towels. The front desk agent said he would send some up....but they never came. Another small frustration is that our room phone didn't even work - in order to call the front desk (repeatedly) I had to dial the phone number of the hotel from my cell phone. The hotel was just ok otherwise. The location was somewhat close to the popular sites, but still further than you'd want to walk. There was shuttle service At least though. The front desk seemed to always have a line of at least 3-4 people, so it took waiting for a bit to get any kind of service. I think we would have been better served staying at one of the other many hotels in the area, even if it meant paying a little more.

This was the worst hotel I had ever stayed at the first room they put us in had black mold in the bathroom and smelled heavily of it the second room they put us in had not been cleaned and I don't know how long there was red hair on my bed sheets so obviously the sheets have not been cleaned when I complain they finally moved us to a room that was somewhat decent had asked to speak to a manager on four different occasions and not once did they ever contact me I would never stay at this hotel again and most definitely would not recommend anyone else wasting their money or their time staying at this place customer service from their people were awful they were very rude and unhelpful

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Everything about it was great. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a lot to offer. They also have a complimentary shuttle that drops you off to the Alamo Plaza (Thanks Rogelio!)--from there, everything is walking distance. If you need to take a taxi or Uber back, it'll only cost $5-7. Check-in was quick and easy. Incidental fee is only $5, as opposed to other hotels that charge $50 and up. Overall, I had an excellent experience. I would stay here again and definitely recommend to a friend.

Prank knocking on door Phone didn't work, 2nd replacement phone didn't work Room was musty and damp- made my suitcase and belongings damp Someone else's blood was on my sheet and bedspread The manager did not address it and left the hotel without resolution The hotel owner did respond nicely and address it

This guy TED, checked me Lance, in. Who had problems with the room key. TED gives Lance new keys 2 more times with the same problem. Lance is at the highest level of pisstivty by now. TED, a very patient gentleman put me in a room on the 4th floor. Well, you guessed it. same problem. TED, takes it upon himself to Comp my breakfast for two. (25.00 ) Lance the problem proceed to his room with upper management. Lanc, the problem, for the fourth time put his key in Upside down!!!! TED, TED,TED still with his nice and polite ways, as I apologize for my dumbness. He said to Lance, who was the problem. He said Okay No Problem Sis.... What a guy TED!!!! Oh I'm Lance.

Everything was great but our vehicle got broken into. Someone slept in it and stole items.

Not kept up. Never any towels at pool. Room had a musty smelll and ac was making loud noises the last night there. Staff not helpful or friendly.

I have stayed here twice. Both for Airforce Graduations. It is very close to riverwalk and the base. They also have a shuttle that takes you to the riverwalk & picks you up. Shuttle driver Steve is wonderful. Very informative guy! Hotel was clean & staff was very friendly. If I ever go back this is where I am staying again. Love it!

The river walk is just a shuttle away, you can walk to market plaza where you will find great souvenirs, food, and local flavor. The Alamo, again a quick shuttle ride makes it a breeze, is a neat stop, but plan a week day if that's an option as weekends are busy. Don't forget to travel about on your own and see the other four Missions, GPS was helpful in finding all the out of the way places, nothing is a far drive from this location. We came for our grandsons airman graduation and it was a great location for him as well.

WE ARRIVED AT HOTEL AND NO ROOMS WERE AVAILABLE FOR CHECKING ANDTHIS WAS AFTER 4:00 PM, BUT I NOTICED EMPLOYEES WERE GIVING OUT ROOMS TO OTHER GUESTS. THEY WERE NOT FREINDLY AT ALL.

Good hotel for location. Wish there'd been free food. Also the pool was drained.

Bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed the soft sheets. Wish it was closer to the River Walk, but easy enough using the VIIA transit bus

good hotel but was charge $5.00 dollar on my credit card when every thing was paid on Orbitz please check your card statement before it to late

The hotel staff was really nice. My birthday weekend there was amazing. They let us check in early and also upgraded our room. The complimentary shuttle gets you around with out you having to worry about cab fare or driving. Also very close to downtown and the market we actually walked the couple blocks thanks to the nice weather.

Very clean. Friendly helpful staff. Free shuttle to and from the Riverwalk and Market Square. Very safe area of town.

Nice hotel. Was close to the Riverwalk, Market Square and the Almo. They had a shuttle that took you to these places. It was very handy and the drivers were very friendly and helpful. We had a very enjoyable time even though the weather was not as warm as we would have liked. The restaurant was nice and the staff were very friendly. We had a great time and would return.

My second time staying here it's a nice hotel close to everything! Friendly staff!

Hotel is a good value. Good location and nice enough accommodations. My only complaint is the reliability of the Internet Service. The Wi-Fi kept falling off. And I had to re-start my computer several times.
